Pence seems not only to have caved but to have completely collapsed and is now trying to pass a bill forcing people to cater Clinton rallies and gay wedding, etc.

So much for Pence as a presidential candidate. Now let's see him find a political future for himself in Indiana.

Sad .... but in the end, I think all those in the world that say one thing and cave to another are more prominent than we, Conservatives, ever thought! :tear::tear::tear:

Really disappointed in Pence!

Okay, this is what the insiders are saying. When Mitch Daniels completed his second term as governor, he got the job as President of Purdue University up the road an hour or two from the State House.

Now US Sen. Dan Coats announced that he is retiring. Daniels wants a former Indiana GOP state chairman and Coats staffer named Eric Holcomb as the next Senator. Well, Holcomb is drawing nothing but groans from the rank and file and from Pence. Meanwhile Daniels is furious at Pence for the defeat of Lugar (good riddance) and for Pence's delving into social issues with the likes of Eric Miller an IFB Baptist and attorney and candidate for Governor against Daniels. Miller's website is Advance America.

So Daniels wants Pence out of the State House. So he starts calling the media because he spent a lot of time in DC and a lot of time in the State House and he knows a lot of people. Also, Daniels has Gannet newspapers eating out of his hand.

Daniels probably wants Jeb Bush for President, his crony Eric Holcomb for Senator so that he can control Holcomb from West Lafayette, and Pence out of the State House so Daniels can put his crony in the Governor's chair. Apparently, Daniels still has control over some people in the State Legislature. Pence lost this one and probably is through.

The moral of the story--Mitch Daniels should never have a cabinet job in DC.
