Military Dis-respect

I can half-way understand the second post. It is sometimes odd how people who work in morbid or solemn environments lighten up their occupation (medical professionals often have a notoriously warped sense of humor, for example). But it certainly was poor judgment to post this publically.
After over 22 years in the military, one thing I can say is that the military cannot teach character.

I'm not sure which is worse.
But lets make it clear that these unworthy GI's are only a very small minority- the vast majority of those in uniform project an image that brings great credit upon themselves, their unit, the Dept of Defense and the United States of America.
