Military Nostalgia

In 2013 soldiers with same sex partners we're allowed. That's about the time I decided it was time to retire. I remember discussions about showers and told myself the Army was just not the same Army I had joined.

From January 1, 2018 to April 11, 2019, transgender individuals could enlist in the military under the condition of being stable for 18 months in their identified or assigned gender.

I refused to join flatout when I read the new AR 600-20, where you can now be disciplined for not participating in some ding-dong's fantasy gender identity and I told my recruiter exactly why too. Now there's all this pronoun junk you can get disciplined for too.

My recruiter still keeps calling and emailing begging me to join. Nooooooope!

If I want what the military offers now I'd go down to Winston-Salem and go to one of them gay and tranny bars.

Ah yes, the famous “I would’ve joined but…”

So, do you have anything of value to refute the info I gave, or just useless comments? Unless you think a Christian should be OK with men showering with women? Or a Christian calling a man a woman?

By the way, I don't read Army Regs for fun. That info was given to me from the 6 vets in my family and Fire Dept, that I asked advice from and all unanimously said the military wasn't worth it anymore and that it's a woke social experiment that they don't recommend anyone join anymore.

203 has a bunch of it. This is the particular one that got me when my buddies told me to read that document. From Page 30:

My comments in Blue
a. Participation. Military personnel must reject participation in extremist organizations and activities. Extremist organizations and activities are ones that advocate-- So far I'm in agreement. Military members shouldn't be part of ISIS...
(1) Racial, sex (including gender identity), sexual orientation, or ethnic hatred or intolerance. - The Bible says a man is a man and a woman is a woman, if I refuse to call a woman a man and so does my Church, then myself and my Church are part of an Extremist organization

(2) Creating or engaging in discrimination based on race, color, sex (including gender identity), national origin, religion, or sexual orientation. - My Church thinks a man showering with a woman who thinks their a man is bad and that we should discriminate against that. Clearly myself and my Church are extremists.

And it's because of junk like this that this is happening:

It’s just a very odd thing to hyperfixate on. You’d think the Army spends 90% of the day showering with each other by the way you word it. The training schedules aren’t much different than they were 10, 15 or even 20 years ago. 95% of the showers you take in the military will most likely be alone. Your average day would be the same as any other Soldier from the 90’s, 00’s or 10’s.

You are going to do PT, then either maintenance, small groups training or field training. That’s usually it.

I do find it somewhat amusing you are outraged with a man showering with a women. “Back in my Army men showered with men and we liked it that way.”:Laugh
