The Ezekiel War nations are aligned, and their is no place for Israel, as a sovereign nation, in their conquest agendas.
The beauty of God's plan, is that all these nations aligned against Israel, all have strong leaders with their own delusions of grandeur. Hence, as prophecied, they shall turn on each other during Ezekiel's war.
Considering that:
America is growing more divided/weakened by the day. We must appear to be a lame duck to the Ezekiel's war nations.
That the Biden Administration is stacking his Administration with recycled Obama personnel. And the Ezekiel's war nations had their way with Obama's Administration. Regardless of what you think of Trump, he was unpredictable and that kept those nations very wary. Whereas they don't fear the Democrats.
Israel is also very divided these days internally and are losing support from the Liberal American Jews. Israel doesn't have a politician that the people are enamored with. Hence they keep dissolving their government and going back to elections. Making them appear to be a lame duck and clearing the way for a strong leader or hero to emerge out of the Ezekiel's war, that they may be enamored with, as they were with King David.
When you analyze the totality of these conditions, would this not appear to be a perfect time for the Ezekiel's war nations to strike? I think so.
If America were to fragment, that would certainly be a green light to the Ezekiel's war nations. I don't believe they would ever make their move against Israel with a stable and strong America.
So to answer your question, things may deteriorate very rapidly.
Overall I agree with what you are saying. A strong America will support Israel. But that puts Israel's trust in America. Israel needs to be placed in the position where there is no hope except from her God. The collapse of America must occur.

Reality and perspective. The point is that we had eight years of that antichrist Obama as President with a massive media platform singing his praises and converting much of the world. Biden was his Vice.
Obama is still very politically active, and now his Vice is President with the same agenda. And again there is a massive media platform singing his praises and again the masses join the chorus.
After outright stealing the election, they are also attempting to completely silence Trump by hook or by crook. The swamp is a huge reality, and very powerful—FBI, DOJ, CIA, IRS, etc., etc. To imagine that these forces are somehow combating the Antichrist is utterly ridiculous.
Don’t forget the crooked FISA courts. Obama gave us 8 bad years and Biden is going to give us 4 more bad years. He has already probably thrown a million people out of work. Now Biden wants millions of illegals to lower wages and suck up welfare.

I see Biden as totally dishonest. How do you have a government job and end up with 5 homes? Al Gore Sr. set Biden up in politics. Do you think that Biden is the anti-Christ? He does seem to have a head injury with 2 brain aneurisms.
Biden said he had a plan to deal with the flu and when he got elected he said that there is nothing that he could do.

His connections with the CCP et al. are certainly horrifying, and the CCP's connections everywhere are no less so.
The Dem party looks like a legion in antichrist lockstep, with their media mouthpieces deceiving the masses. They are consummate professionals in the devilish art of mendacity. The way Obama came to power was strongly suggestive of The Antichrist. The Nobel Peace Prize for precisely nothing and the world applauds?
However, IDing The Antichrist is far above my pay grade. I see there are myriad antichrists already in the world, just as John said. The US does not have a corner on the market. There are so many to choose from. How a consolidation of power would play out is simply beyond me.
But considering what brethren have suffered over time throughout the world, in a great many cases their personal experiences qualify as having tasted the effect.
