Have you addressed Christ's literal and contextual words spoken directly to his 12 disciples yet?.....I guess you must be?

I made a reference to another literal and contextual Bible lesson directly from THE teacher Himself, but you must have missed that too. Now, how does this apply to salvation during the millinium? Easy! Christ is here saying that ON THE SAME DAY everything happens!
End of story! [IMG] The saints go up...and the unsaved go down on the same day  </font>[/QUOTE]

I will look at that tonight and correlate it with Rev. 19-20. I ask you to look at the passages in Rev. and give one good reason for giving it a "symbolic" meaning.

    Symbolism in Rev. 19-20?

    Easy!
in 20:1....where is the bottomless pit .
...........How big of a chain is it going to take?
Verse 2...Seen any literal dragons around lately?
...........The serpent we all know but where is the pit?

Verse 4....What's the mark going to be?
Verse 8....Where are the four corners of the earth?
Verse 8...Where is Gog and Magog?
Verse 8 If their number is like the sand of the sea. There wouldn't be enough room for them on planet earth!
Verse 9...Where is the beloved city?
Verse 10...Where is the lake of fire and sulphur?

AND THAT'S JUST CHAPTER 20!!!!! Ya think I found some symbolism???? I think I do!

Jesus Christ is the first resurrection as the Apostle Paul teaches in Acts 26:23 That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

The second resurrection is described in John 5:28, 29:
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

OldRegular: "Since we are currently living

I would hear more of your strange and
    curious doctrine OldRegular.
    I have itchy ears :D

2 Timothy 4:3 (HCSB = The Holman Christian Standard Bible)

For the time will come when they will
not tolerate sound doctrine, but according
to their own desires, will accumulate
    teachers for themselves because they
have an itch to hear something new
    .

BTW, in the Millinnial Kingdom of Jesus
when Jesus rules on a physical throne in
a physical Jerusalem, people will be
still saved by grace thru faith.

Sorry to lead you astray, brother Trailblazer,
i was being sarcastic and you took me
    literal :(

    I repeat to clarify:

[sarcasm] I would hear more of your new,
    strange and curious doctrine
    which Christians and Baptists
have not taught in the past, that we
are living in the Millinnial Kingdom
of Christ. I have itchy ears. [/sarcasm]

Sorry folks, but i don't think there will
be any baby rapping in the Millinnial
Kingdom but we have that today.
Sorry folks, but i don't think there will
be and meth labs in the Millinnial Kingdom,
    but we have it today.

The monkey is hard on you back to prove
we are in the Millinnial Kingdom where
the Lion lay down with the lamb and
    the infants play with dangerous
snakes and are not harmed. Sorry, that
is NOT where i live or when i live.

\o/ Praise be to Jesus \o/

    Five Resurrections
    Found in the Holy Bible
    Compared and Contrasted

The Lord God is a resurrecting God.

    Definitions:

New Testament: God's contract on goy
Old Testament: God's contract on Yisrael
Resurrection: a person who was dead is alive
Saint: a person on God's list (AKA: Book of Life)
    Tribulation: AKA: The Time of Jacob's Trouble (Jeremiah 30:4-7);
    --Yisrael passing under the rod (Ezekiel 20:34-3;
    --Melting Pot (Ezekiel 22:19-22);
--Time of Trouble (Daniel 12:1); etc.
Resurrection: a person who was dead is alive
goy - Yisraeli term for gentiles (probably slightly derogotory)
Yisrael - Transliteration of the Hebrew term for "Israel" into English.

How to get on God's list:

Romans 10:9 (KJV): That if thou
shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt
believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from
the dead, thou shalt be saved.

    1. Resurrection of Jesus
    WHO: Jesus
    WHEN: 33AD
    WHERE: Jerusalem
WHY: The Lord God is a resurrecting God.
HOW: The Grace of God through Messiah Jesus
WHAT: Raised to Life Eternal; because of the
resurrection of Jesus, all the other resurrections
    are possible
    References: Matthew 28:6, Mark 16:6, Luke 24:6-8

    2. Resurrection of some Old Testament Saints
WHO: Some of those who died before Jesus believeing God, especially
those who believed in God's Messiah
    WHEN: 33AD
    WHERE: mostly in Jerusalem
WHY: The Lord God is a resurrecting God.
HOW: The Grace of God through Messiah Jesus
    WHAT: Raised to Life Eternal

    3. Resurrection of the New Testament Saints
WHO: Church age (AKA: times of the Gentiles) Saints; balance
    of the Old Testament Saints
    WHEN: Some date after 26 May 2004;
at the end of the Church Age; at the beginning of
    the Tribulation
    WHERE: Worldwide
WHY: The Lord God is a resurrecting God.
HOW: The Grace of God through Messiah Jesus
    WHAT: Raised to Life Eternal;
this resurrection is followed in but a
moment by the translation of the living
saints into a glorified heavenly body like
    that of Jesus
    References: 1 Corinthians 15:52, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

    4. Resurrection of the Tribulation Saints
WHO: Those beheaded for faith in Jesus; those
who reject the Mark of the Beast
WHEN: at the end of the Tribulation; at the
beginning of the 1,000-year reign of Jesus
    WHERE: worldwide
WHY: The Lord God is a resurrecting God.
HOW: The Grace of God through Messiah Jesus
    WHAT: Raised to Life Eternal
    References: Revelation 20:4-6,

    5. Resurrection of the non-Saints
WHO: All those throughout time who have rejected Jesus
    WHEN: At the close of the 1,000-year reign of Jesus;
    at the beginning of eternity
    WHERE: worldwide
WHY: i don't know, God does
HOW: i don't know, God does
WHAT: Raised to eternal shame & damnation
    References: Revelation 20:12-15

NOTE: The delineation of the five revealed
    resurrections above
does not preclude other resurrections. The Lord God
is a resurrecting God and His hand is not shortened
by his revelation to us or
by our understaning of His revelation to us.
    For example: Two Witnesses shall
be resurrected in the middle of the Tribulation.

There is a pastoral picture of the four resurrections
for which the resurrection of Jesus was a precusor
    (numbered here as above):

    2. The First Fruits (Matthew 27:22-53)

    3. The Harvest (1 Corinthians 15:51-54, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

    4. The Gleanings (Revelation 7:14, 20:4)

    5. The Tares (Matthew 13:28-30)

Sometimes the Holy Bible calls resurrections 2-4, the resurrections
of the just: The First Resurrection (because all the
resurrections of the just preceede the resurrection
    of the unjust).

The following scriptures seem to imply a simultaneous
resurrection of the just and the wicked dead:
Daniel 12:2, John 5:28-29 (all resurrected
in the same hour), Acts 24:15. Revelation 20-4-6
cleary notes that the just are raised one day
(a 1,000 year long day) before the unjust.

CAUTION: The numbering scheme 1 to 5 above was arbitrarliy
assigned to enable the discussion. There is nothing
sacred or Biblical about this numbering scheme.

May Jesus our Savior and our Master be Praised!

Note that ressurrections #2 and #3 are accompanied
by a rapture of living saints.

Premils have problems with Bible, what it teaches.

Premills have serious problems with Matthew chapter 13, Matthew chapter 24, 25, John chapter 5, John chapter 6, and more...

Jesus Christ is our teacher, and also, He is our God. He already set his plans for the end times. He knows everything than us.

Jesus Christ teaches of Matt. 13:28-30; 38-43 about the harvest, there shall be the only one future harvest at the end of the age. Christ teaches us, both believers and unbelievers are growing together over the world right now. Unbelievers shall not be separated from believers TILL Jesus Christ comes with his angels, then shall separate unbelievers from us, and cast them away into fire. There is none mentioned of 'a thousand years' anywhere in context of Matthew chapter 13.

Christ teaches us, the lesson of flood came and suddenly took all unbelievers away, no unbeliever was survived and remain after the flood, all were killed, so, it shall be same at Christ's xoming. When Christ shall come, angels will take all unbelievers away and cast them into the fire immediately right afte the judgement day - Matt. 24:37-41; Luke 17:34-37; 2 Thess. 1:7-9; Matt. 13:40-42; Matt. 25:31-33, 46.

Christ teaches us, the resurrection shall be on the LAST day - John 6:39,40,44, & 54. No other else of the events. Second Grade student understands what 'last day' means, know the last day of school will be tomorrow, then after that day past, then NO MORE class again for the rest of summer. Christ does not teaching us there is phase or split series of the resurrection in John chapter 6.

Ed believes 4 resurrections in the future. Bible does not teaching this according what Ed says.

1 Cor. 15:23 tells, there is the only two orders of resurrection: Jesus Christ is the firstfruit of the resurrection, He was the first person to have resurrection from the tomb, THEN afterward, at Christ's coming, we all shall be risen. There is the only one future coming of Christ, not phase or split series of Christ's coming of 1 Cor. 15:23.

Christ teaches us there is the only one future judgment day at Christ's coming in Matthew 25:31-46; John 5:27-29. Two or three different judgment days is unbiblical, and these do not find anywhere in the Bible.

    Daniel chapter 7; Matt. 25:31-46; John 5:27-29; Acts 10:42 Romans 14:10: 1 Cor. 3:12-15; 2 Cor.5:10; 2 Tim. 4:1; Rev. 20:11-15 teach us, there is the only onejudgment day.

We cannot doing our guesswork by make-up teaching on different kinds of judgment days from what the Bible actually saying.

We have to let Scripture intepreting Scripture, agree what the Bible saying, accept and follow them.

I understand Revelation chapter 20, what it talking about. First, Revelation chapter 20 does not saying there shall be two resurrections. It says, "THIS is the FIRST RESURRECTION", it is the only one resurrection, no other else. 'First Resurrection' is the picture of eternal life. Revelation chapter 20 tells us, many saints who were killed, persecuted, refuse worship the beast, are now in the heaven with the Lord, are reigning with Christ.

Christ already given his power to us -Matt. 16:18,19; Matt. 28:18-20; and Acts 1:8, that we can carry the gospel to the world, Satan cannot stop us from spread the gospel, also, Satan is now holding back(2 Thess. 2:6-7; Rev. 17:8) cannot stop us from spreading the gospel to the world, as the nations(Gentiles) can hear the gospel. Till the apostasy become worsen(2 Thess. 2:3) then, God knows when the right time to come, then He shall allow Satan to be loosened out of the way(2 Thess. 2:7; Rev. 17:8; Rev. 20:3b,7).

Jews were looking for physical kingdom to be establish upon earth. Christ told them, the kingdom is within us already.

Also, Christ started his ministry, and he commanded them to repent of their sins, the kingdom of God is at hand. That was 3 years earlier before his resurrection. When He risen from the death, then Christ brought kingdom of God to us, and received power from Him, so, we can spread the gospel of the kingdom of God to the world.

Church is now reigning with Christ both earth and in heaven since Calvary to today.

The kingdom is not observed, it is spiritual, and mystery. But we have to faith and believe what Christ saying to us, we are commanded to spreading the gospel to the world about the kingdom.

I rather to saying the term of my belief on Revelation chapter 20 - 'Eternality Kingdom', than 'amillennial'. Because the kingdom of God is an eternality, have no end - Daniel 7:14,18, and 27.

Premill limited Christ's reign & kingdom for only 1000 years. But, not what Bible actual saying.

I understand 'a thousand years' of Revelation is a figurative meaning or symbol number. It represents length time, it could be 1,500 years or 2,000 or 3,000. It is not a exactly numbers of the years, as Church reigns with Christ.

The fact tells us, Church have been reigning with Christ for nearly 2,000 years already according what the history telling us. Church might be continue reigning with Christ in the next another thousand year or more beyond 3000 A.D., who knows? God knows.

But, our reigning with Christ shall never be end, we shall continue to reign with Christ forver and ever right after the end of the age expired.

My belief is not consider as hertic or danger to the Bible.

I agree with premills, that we are reigning with Christ. And of course, we shall reign with Christ on earth in physical and literal follow Christ's coming. That's what I am looking for!!!

    In Christ
    Rev. 22:20 -Amen!

A-mills have problems with the Bible and what it teaches.

DeafPosttrib: "Jesus Christ teaches of Matt. 13:28-30; 38-43
about the harvest, there shall be the only one future
harvest at the end of the age.

I find nothing in the parable of the harvest that
    precludes multiple harvests.

DeafPosttrib: "Christ teaches us, both believers and
unbelievers are growing together over the world right now."

Amen, Brother DeafPosttrib -- Preach it!
But to take the order of the harvest (evil first, good second)
from a parable and add a false SAME TIME requriement --
    that is an error.

Apparently the Bible's condencing information leads to
a great deal of confusion, especially among those who
try to seperate the truths of God.

    consider these elements:

    2
    3
    5
    6
    10

If i write about those even (evenly divisable by 2),
    i speak of 2, 6, and 10

If i write about those odd (a remainer exists when
    dividing by 2)
    I speak of 3 and 5

If i write about those whose symbol incloses space
    I speak of 6 and 10

If i write about those numbers that appear in a
    common deck of cards
    i speak of 2,3,5 and 6.

If i write about those nubmers that are
    evenly divisable by 5
    I speak of 5 and 10.

If i speak of those numbers whose symbol incloses
space AND are evenly divisable by 5
    i speak only of 10.

If i speak of those numbers whose symbol incloses
space OR are evenly divisable by 5
    i speak of 6 and 10 and 5 and 10.

I have spoken of 10 twice BUT i do not say TWICE
    when i say:
    those numbers whose symbol incloses
space OR are evenly divisable by 5

    This is common, simple information
and some miss great spiritual and Biblical
    blessings by not seeing
it because of the a-mill blinders they wear.

Your logical does not make sense to me.

No excuse for you to read whole Matthew chapter 13, what Christ talking about.

Remember, Christ tells us, sower is Jesus Christ, seed represents people of the world. Good seed represents believers, bad seed represents unbelievers. Very simple and plain.

There is only two classes according to the Bible.

There are only two places where all people go, right after they die - hell or heaven. Very simple and plain. All people only have two fathers - God and Satan. Very simple and plain.

Matthew 13:28-30; 38-43; Matt. 25:31-46; Rev. 7:1-8; 14:14-20 tell us, there shall be the only one harvest at the end of the world.

You have to accept what the Bible saying, and follow it. Why can't you accept and understand what the Bible saying?

    In Christ
    Rev. 22:20 -Amen!

You can continually bleat this like a sheep.
It is a generality. Get specific. Show
how VERSE BY VERSE, PHRASE BY PHRASE
these verses show one and only one
harvest at the end of the world. What
"world" do you mean anywayt? The KJV
    translats two different Greek words
    "world".

The Greek "cosmos" is more like our physical
    world.
The Greek "aeon" is more like our "age".
Please note then that with two Greek words
and only one English word, that there can
be TWO harvests, one at the end of the
cosmos and one at the end of the aeon.

(BTW, the order in which i mentioned these
two is probably now the order in which they
    will come down.)

I'm back. After reading the posts that took place after I left I am at a loss here. I went to read Luke 17 and now that's gone. Trailblazer, do you want to pick up where we left off? I don't think it will do any good though since we have a slight problem of when the kingdom will take place. I suppose we are not looking at chronological events in Rev. 19-20 either. Is that your perspective?

    Jeff,

All I want you to do is start with what Jesus himself said first.

    1) Pick up your Bible and read Luke 17:22-35.

    2) Look at the two reference that Jesus is pointing you back to. Noah and Lot.

    3) Look at them carefully. They are your "visual" pictures of actual historical events.

    4) Look at Noah and the flood. God saved the "just" and punished the "wicked" in ONE event. When God "shut the door" and brought the rains, it was ON THE SAME DAY. (Gen 7:13)Thus, Jesus is saying to us today, "My next great event will be happening exactly the same way."

    5) In looking at Lot, and Sodom and Gomorrah. It is the same way but only in the sense that God used FIRE and it was localized - not world wide. Why? Because the earthly cleansing with "fire" is how he will be cleansing the WHOLE earth the next time.(2 Peter 3:7)

If you get this, the rest falls into place.

    1. Went over it last night

    2. Yes those are His illustrations.

    3.ok

    4. ok, I can agree with that in those exact words.

    5. But other than trying to imply how the judgement happens in this text, we stop short here of the actual event. If we take your interprtation here that still leads us to Rev. 19:11. Here is the second coming. I will agree with this passage showing a TEMPORAL, PHYSICAL judgement of death to all who do not believe, but there is no resurrection here. The text moves from the battle to the Millinial Kingdom. Either Christ has returned already and we are now in Rev. 20, or He will still return and set up His Kingdom. I place my hope in His return. amen? Now we are back to the OP, How are those in the Millinial Reign save?

    By grace through Faith!
