I'm not Prisilla, but.....

Opposition to an unprovoked war is diametrically opposed to Biblical views? Opposition to policies which burden the poor and increase the disperity between the rich and the not rich is un-Biblical? Opposition to the enormous and growing national debt is contrary to Biblical views how, exactly?

If very many Christians can support Hillary...
They can, depending on the opposition.

...and all the evil baggage she carries,...
Whoa there. What "evil baggage"? She's moderate on abortion, true, but otherwise, what?

...there is not much hope for the continued positive influence believers wield as a political group.
Believers quite evidently are not a single political group.
President Bush has made by far (hopefully) the greatest leap toward overturning Roe v. Wade, by his nominations to SCOTUS.

He has kept the terrorist attacks out of our nation since 9-11,
Um, yeah, since 9-11, but that occurred on his watch. What did he do to prevent it?

...and for what would have happened if JF Kerry had been elected, see France.
That is nothing more than fatuous speculation on your part.

Standard line from Christians who vote for those who support murder of the unborn and same sex marriage. ;)

Sorry, I don't agree with the litmus test, or, honestly, any litmus test.

If what you're saying is true, then why do so many people on this board call Arnold Schwarzenegger a liberal? He personally supported Prop 73 (parental notification of a minor's abortion) and vetoed a bill that would legalize gay marriage. He's also vetoed bills that would permit illegal aliens to obtain drivers licences.

</font>[/QUOTE]It's more along the lines of an observation.

But if you consider it a litmus test, it's my litmus test. You don't have to subscribe to it.

I don't hear the line very often, but when I do, it's almost always a Christian explainng why they vote as lberals for candidates that support abortion and same sex marriage.

I believe I've heard it most often from liberals posting on this board.

That's my observation. You're entitled to a different one if you so desire.

I actually mneant my post for everyone but you Daisy. I know what you're about. Your views are skewed in my opinion and do not reflect Christ's leading.
