Ever since I've been debating with Onlyists, I've seen that they shovel into the garbage pile every 6 months or so, to dredge up old garbage, long refuted, that simply smells worse with age, as they actually find someone gullible enough to fall for their myth. Some of these "oldies that were never goodies" are:
In Isaiah 14:12, the MVs substitute Jesus for the devil by reading "morning star" rather than "Lucifer".
The MVs have copyrights, while the KJV does not, meaning the MVs are made and sold to make filthy lucre.
The MVs leave out Christ's blood in several verses.
The MVs are made from incorrect mss.
Westcott and Hort, the "fathers" of the texts from which MVs are made, were closet Catholics and also practicing mystics.
  Dean John Burgon was KJVO.
The MVs leave out umpteen hundred words.
Now, we get into some of their REALLY STUPID assertions:
The "provisional Bible" trash, where they say the English Bibles made before 1611 are "fill-ins", serving the English until "that which is perfect"-the KJV-was made.
The MVs deny Christ's Divine conception by calling Joseph and Mary "his parents" in Luke 2:43. Apparently the paragons of wisdom who thought this one up had trouble reading five verses further in their KJVs: Luke 2:48, KJV "And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, ***thy father*** and I have sought thee sorrowing.
The Psalm 12:6-7 thing. I might recommend that the KJVOs who advocate that these verses refer to God's words consult a REAL AV 1611 to see the marginal note referring to V.7.
"The KJV corrects the mss from which it was made." Typical Rucky-Mon factoid with its typical veracity.
And, finally, this classic: Gimme the King James that Paul used!"
This is but a short list from the KJVO loony bin, oldies long-refuted, but periodically brought up by some KJVOs in the hope that some new reader may actually half-believe some of them. unfortunately, we then have to go to work and present all the refutations over again, in the hope that we keep the neophytes from falling into the KJVO quagmire.
As Dr. Bob said, it was nonsense then, & it's nonsense now.
"A cowboy's work is never done."
