Misconceptions about me

Various misconceptions about me that I am WOTM only have surfaced here and there on this board which are false.

On the streets I am WOTM preferred. However at work and with family I get ideas from the book Share Jesus Without Fear which is more geared for lifestyle evangelism. For example 2 people at work I am going to make an attempt to get to know them better by inviting them to dinner and paying the tab. I got this idea from the book. If they accept I won't preach at them, just strive to get to know them. If they decline I will continue to pray for them and be their work friend and encourage them. None of these ideas I got from a Ray Comfort book.

Carly Simon wrote a song and it became one of her biggest hits. The title escapes me, but for some reason it came to mind when I read this post. I don't think that people have any misconceptions about you, Evan. I really don't think that anything has surfaced in the BB about you (excluding what you have volunteered about yourself). The only thing people here know about us is what we tell of ourselves. Personally, I rejoice that the gospel is shared.

JonC nailed it when he said that what people think about you is based on what you post on this board and how you respond to people.

In recent days I have been blessed so much by Way of the Master like minded*evangelists*including Ray Comfort. And today I came home and got a UPS package and in it was a brand new copy of the Way of the Master book, Out of the Comfort Zone, and*2 Way*of the Master*sample*packs. Praise the Lord for people that will bless others

Our Church is not 9 Marks, however we will be using this book as our fall focus on healthy church members. Has anyone*read it*and what are your thoughts? Skimming the evangelism section, the author definitely does not argue in favor of the Way of the Master approach to evangelism, so that may be my only pre-gripe to the book.

Your actions will always speak louder than your words and when your actions are to insult people that don't use WOTM, complain that a book does not favor WOTM, praise WOTM people, and exalt WOTM material, one usually will conclude that you believe that WOTM is the only way to evangelize even if you deny it with your mouth. Your actions will always be believed when it contradict what you say.

It has been noted by almost all on BB that both narcissism and arrogance weigh supreme with this creature.....So wouldn't it be better just to allow him room to alienate everyone he comes in contact with......perhaps that's what it takes to wise him up. Of course, pray for hisr reclamation but you should consider halting your interaction with him. See my brother, he feeds on it.....any commentary,good or bad, feeds his ego......So just stop doing it.
