There are many strong Christians using these versions, and to imply that they lead to doubt about God's preservation of His Word is not only ludicrous, but, false.

They do lead to doubt of this, as it has been revealed by posters on these very boards.

To say that just because the MV's come from Egypt makes them bad or suspect is like saying that Jesus was suspect, because he was taken out of Egypt also. Your reasoning is flawed.

Well AVL, you are again wrong scripturally about this. God's word went out into ALL REGIONS, and did not settle ONLY IN ONE REGION. As the scriptures say:

    Acts 12

    24. But the word of God grew and multiplied.

    Acts 13

    49. And the word of the Lord was published throughout all the region.

    Acts 15

    17. That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

    1 Timothy 3

    15. But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

You see, when people are saved, God's word grows. It spreads and it is found in the churches and is alive, not dead and stagnant in one region only, and then collecting dust eventually, only to be resurrected in 1880's. Sorry, but YOUR LOGIC FAILS SCRIPTURALLY and TRUTHFULLY.

You still have yet to post or repost the alleged missing verses and to give an explanation as to why they belong or don't.
    --------------------------------------------------

Well AVL, you know very well I have provided in part, this previously, as well as MANY OTHER PEOPLE who come here to help you to see. In fact, one other person just today, gave you a link to refer to. I bet you didn't even look at it, did ya AVL? I would say what this is, but I am trying to be as kind as possible, and approach this issue differently than I have been. So I won't go there, and I will leave it to you to determine.

Unless you personally know every translator of every version and they are indeed what you accuse them of, you have slandered people you do not know. Your saying (or parroting other KJVO's that say) blah blah blah does not make blah blah blah true. You need to repent of this and stop doing it.

The KJV is not the standard by which one should measure whether or not another English translation is missing verses (which was totally unknown prior to someone dividing up the text and adding chapter and verse numbers).

You claim that the doctrines in the MV's are weakened compared to the KJV because of variants in the source texts. However, that is not true - as you have been shown before. When read in entirety, the MV's are just as strong as the KJV is.

Again, Michelle, I have never stated that the word didn't go out to all regions. Stop avoiding the points and continuously referring to "living churches" as if those who used the MV's were not living churches. As far as leading to doubt, it is the KJVO Extremists such as yourself that bring forth the seed of doubt by casting dispersions on the MV's and those that use them. It is totally inexcusable for the KJVO EXTREMISTS to do such, as it harms not only their own cause, but the cause of Christ and Christianity as a whole. As for the link that someone else posted, yes, I did look at it, so your presumption is, AS USUAL, incorrect. Your impertinent attitude is still showing Michelle, as is your ignorance of the facts. Again, the comparison is apples and oranges. You have yet to show one iota of proof that the MV's leave out verses (proof from outside sources), or that the KJV HASN'T added or changed any. The KJV itself has many varying editions that have had changes, which again, you have yet to address. Which one is perfect word for word without ANYTHING left out or added. We'd all like to know so we can go and buy it.
