Yep. Some folks on the extreme right have a very distorted view of reality. Thus, they cannot be reasoned with as they are stuck in the political cesspools of their own minds.
Pretty much right now, as those concetered as in the middle are usually pro choice/pro gay marriages etc...

Not me (centre-left) and not over here: abortion and gay marriage are not party political issues here; MPs have a free vote on abortion for example
Any nation that formally approves both abortion and gay marriages is well down the pthway of self destruction!
I don't know: feeding, housing and clothing the poor, free medical care and decent education and employment prospects are rather more important issues than what two consenting adults may or may not get up to in the bedroom,.wouldn't you say?
As does any nation that doesn't care for its most vulnerable citizens

To consider where one stands on the political spectrum, one has to include lots more issues than only abortion and same-sex “marriage”.
That genie's been out of the bottle about half a century since we legalised abortion and changed the definition of marriage by legalising divorce. Not new news at all
Matt, as I've said before, I don't think in terms of left or right. I take my cue from something developed by IIRC the Libertarian Party. That spectrum runs from 100% government control (the DPRK for example) to 0% (Anarchy).
