Work, worship and live in a multi-ethnic, multi-racial environ. It's what we do without really thinking too much about it. In taking a minute to look at it, this is what I've come up with --

My office is one third anglo. The rest of the folks are from all over - Cuba, Bahamas, Jamaica, Trinidad, Nicaragua, etc.
Our church congregation is mixed. We just ordained two elders this past Sunday -- one is Chinese Jamaican and the other is African American. (Our Pastor is a white Jamaican.)
Our neighborhood is mainly caucasion, but primarily Jewish, with some hispanics and asians thrown in the mix - definitely not waspy.
My home is 25% anglo (me), unless boy/girl friends of our children are over -- then the anglo percentage falls to 17%.

LOL - This sounds like our missions trips so far this year! We've gone to three of the five places you mentioned - Cuba, Trinidad (and Tobaigo) and Nicaragua. :)

One of the nice things about Miami is that you are so very close to the states :smilewinkgrin:.

PS -- how was Cuba??

Who cares, afterall most of us can claim to be polyglot or mongrels with our family histories.

A dear aunt of mine who has Jamacian history, her family being plantation owners and therefore access to that disgusting practice of slave owners
says with all sincerity Inferior races begin at Calais, she is a British person.

Ahh aint it grand to be so illogical and so rightous in one breath.:love2:
