Moderna Vaccine: It Looks Safe, May Need Two Doses, Now To Test It In 30,000 People

“The researchers also found high concentrations in the participants’ blood of antibodies that might protect against the coronavirus. Gill says that finding, along with the safety data in the study, provide ample evidence that Moderna was correct to forge ahead with their vaccine. If the biotech is successful in the subsequent phase two and three clinical trials, Gill says, that would be the key to bringing the vaccine to market.”

It seems good results but they did use an aborted baby to make this. They take organs and grow tissue cell cultures, and they can keep them growing for decades.

OF COURSE, you have a source for this and can provide a link?

"Senior Catholic leaders in the United States and Canada, along with other antiabortion groups, are raising ethical objections to promising COVID-19 vaccine candidates that are manufactured using cells derived from human fetuses electively aborted decades ago. They have not sought to block government funding for the vaccines, which include two candidate vaccines that the Trump administration plans to support with an investment of up to $1.7 billion, as well as a third candidate made by a Chinese company in collaboration with Canada’s National Research Council (NRC). ...

Cells derived from elective abortions have been used since the 1960s to manufacture vaccines, including current vaccines against rubella, chickenpox, hepatitis A, and shingles. They have also been used to make approved drugs against diseases including hemophilia, rheumatoid arthritis, and cystic fibrosis. ...

At least five of the candidate COVID-19 vaccines use one of two human fetal cell lines: HEK-293, a kidney cell line widely used in research and industry that comes from a fetus aborted in about 1972; and PER.C6, a proprietary cell line owned by Janssen, a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson, developed from retinal cells from an 18-week-old fetus aborted in 1985. Both cell lines were developed in the lab of molecular biologist Alex van der Eb at Leiden University. Two of the five vaccines have entered human trials."

Maybe half these vaccine candidates use aborted infants, the others do not. Likely both types will get an approval. Imagine if states make the vaccine mandatory and the only approved one is considered unethically derived, I am certain people would refuse to be a part of this.

Yes, here you go

Which COVID-19 Vaccines Are Being Developed with Aborted Babies?
Several COVID-19 vaccine frontrunners, including those being developed by Moderna, Oxford University/AstraZeneca, CanSino Biologics/Beijing Institute of Biotechnology, and Inovio Pharmaceuticals, are using a human fetal kidney cell line called HEK-293 to develop their trial vaccines. HEK-293 was originally derived from kidney tissue taken from a baby girl who was aborted in the Netherlands in 1972 and later developed into a cell line in a lab in 1973.

Will this be a concern for you?, my wife absolutely says NO to getting such a vaccine, but she would agree to an ethical one not derived from an aborted infant. If you receive this vaccine your benefitting from the abortion of this infant, and if you are opposed to abortion it ought to be a concern. These are late term abortions, with developed baby organs that they use.

Other companies are making vaccines which are ethically derived, not from aborted baby girls and boys.

I sure hope this is true. I also hope they give it to at-risk individuals only, and not force it on anyone.

The government has no way to enforce a mandated vaccine due to sheer numbers. Now an employer could require a vaccination, just like an employer can require a drug test, but no one is forcing you to work for a particular employer.

I'm more concerned about schools enforcing a vaccine for kids with zero risk.

They're trying to stop that as well. Unions are demanding an end to charter schools.

Well, if it means that much to you, you may have to be willing to suffer any consequences as the result of not sending your child to school according to government rules.

I can tell you're broken up for me.

I'm merely expressing that I hope our government does the right thing. Vaccinating children for a virus there already immune to is beyond irresponsible.

Just because something is a big deal to you doesn’t mean it’s a big deal to me. When I have gotten a vaccination or a shot, before the needle is stuck in me, I have never asked the nurse, “What was the manufacturing process and what are the ingredients in this vaccine or medicine you are about to put into my body?”

Thanks again for the clarification.

It's something sensible people do.

I know nothing about such.

Well there have been two or three threads here about it. Gates is helping Pope Francis reduce the birth rate in Africa. He gave bad medicine to people in Kenya, killed some, crippled some, and sterilized others secretly. His dad was head of the local Planned Parenthood and Gates is into eugenics--building a better race.
