Monty Python vs. Wokeism

Monty Python is directly responsible for wokeism. MP is a perfect reflection of post modernism where everything is meaningless.

No, they are not directly responsible for it, that's hilarious. The professors in the universities of the West are responsible for it.

And Joab, king David's general, fought battles for the Lord as an evil man.

Hmmm...where do you think the writers went to school there Thumper? They wrote their script with the post-modernist philosophy in mind. Monty Python is entirely post-modern in its skits. It works to make everything meaningless, which is the point of it's humor.

You're absolutely right. I confess that as a young man I was a fan and would never miss "The Flying Circus" episodes. Between segments they would have random animated sequences of random stuff on any subject. I always felt a little funny about some of the skits they did but it was funny. One day during the animated sequence they showed a bunch of telephone poles - one with Jesus hung on the cross piece! I got up (you had to do that in those days), went over to the TV and turned it off and never watched another episode. I hope I have been forgiven for watching that. I did not watch "The Life of Brian". They were true to the idea of making fun of everyone and everything. I am surprised that "Military Fairies" and "He's a Lumberjack" are still on YouTube but be careful watching them, especially if you tend to be a little cynical anyway.

No idea, probably the same schools that C.S Lewis went to.

Nope

MP is pure post-modernism. They were the first true wave of post modernists who, like Neitzsche, perfectly hit the mark of the end point of the philosophy.
It's brilliant work, but it fully expresses the end point of post-modernism.

Thank you for your opinion on this matter

I am a huge Monty Python fan. As really love the shows but however did not watch Life of Brian over due to my Christian faith there. Will leave it at that!
