All the so called soul winners hold D L Moody right up there with Apostle Paul.
I know about D.L. Moody. I read a book about him.
I want to know about where the church and school stands today.

church still holds to the cardinal biblical truths of Christianity, and the school still teaches pretty much solid "Baptist" doctrines/theology!
They don't embrace Homosexuality or Alcohol?

No, they don't. I know someone who was recently interviewed for a teaching position there. I would not consider them fundamentalist since probably around 1960, so they don't like the standards we fundamentalists hold to, but they certainly don't "embrace homosexuality or alcohol."
Where would they differ from Fundamentalism?
The main difference is that they would probably not believe in ecclesiastical separation. In other words, whether or not the school itself had a theological liberal in to speak (I believe they would not go that far, which makes them better than Liberty U. in my mind.), I don't believe they would not have a problem with their profs and admin people speaking for liberals or Charismatics.
I'm purposefully using ambiguous language since I have not personally researched the school, but know in general what they stand for and who their supporters are. Someone who actually wanted to go there would need to do their own research.

Just some advice from an older guy. Reading a book on a man does not mean you know about. Reading a dozen books might be a start at knowing him.

Seems like some people get pleasure out of correcting and putting others down.

Goodness. Just saying that reading 'a book' doesn't really let you know about a guy.

Reading a book does let you know about a guy. When you get done reading you now know some things about them. Good grief.

I perceive that Jordan is a young man who has a real heart for God. My post was an attempt to help him in his presentation of himself in a public arena. I am saddened that I did anything that could have been perceived as cruel or judgemental.
I hope that he can forgive me for any offence I might have caused him.
