"I worked in homeland security. I'm from intelligence, and I'll tell you, one of the largest threats to our internal security...I mean terrorism has an Islamic face, but it really comes from racial supremacist groups. (inaudible) Its the kind of thing we keep a threat assessment on record [for]."​

Then the reporter asks if that includes "groups like this" and refers to the Tea Partiers who were picketing the healthcare legislation in Washington. Carson's reply, "Oh absolutely."​

Yup, all of you Tea Partiers who have been arrested (zero) or destroyed property (zero) or carried out a domestic terrorist attack (zero) .. YOU are dangerous ones in this country.

Now there's a group out there that is immune to those pro-forma attacks, and the Democrats are running scared. Notice, please, that the Democrats don't respond to the Tea Partiers on the issues they bring to the table. You don't hear arguments for big government. You don't hear arguments in favor of higher taxes on the middle class. You don't hear arguments in favor of spending more than we have. The Democrats know full well they can't win those arguments ... they can't even stay on the same page. So, another way must be found to discredit these dangerous Tea Partiers. That's where...Carson comes in .... Portraying the Tea Partiers as dangerous and a probable source of the next terrorist attack on this country.

Boortz also reminds us of the other two arrows in the leftists' quiver: Threats of losing our entitlements ("If you vote for _______, they'll take away your grandmother's Social Security and let her starve."), and, of course, racism (the "Jimmy Carter" defense).

Well, as he so eloquently puts it...when you can't win in the arena of ideas, you do whatever you can.

As long as the politicians keep spewing these lies and the Obama media continues to perpetuate them, this is the image that the public in general is going to have of the tea party. I know of no one who is "big anti-government". What many are is "anti-big government". And McVeigh was upset about Clinton's poor handling of the Waco incident. He would most likely hang out with Bill Ayers. You know....since they both like to blow building up when they get mad at government.
