nope...pretty typical at this point, I think. He should have acted like the lib he ran as rather than trying to appease the Party of No, and he would rank higher in the polls.

Among Texans, Obama fares much worse, even though we demand much more from our own than we do from anyone else.

We'll get a chance to test out your theory. Obama must have gotten chastised by party leaders as he suddenly found his spine and has decided to trot out his tax the rich mantra again in addition to linking any spending cuts to revenue increases (a proposal that is dead in the water and a reverse from his stance of just a month ago.) So he is reactivating some of his liberal roots.
