More Winning! This Time with the New Budget

Speaking of tiring of winning, did you see what's in the new budget? Or more accurately, what is NOT in the new budget:

Not in the budget:
  • Funding for the big beautiful wall. Only existing walls and fences may be repaired or upgraded. None of the new prototype walls may be used. No new construction, either.
  • Unlimited detainment of illegal aliens. The Dems capped the number that can be detained at 40,354.
  • Repeal of the Johnson Amendment. Non-profit churches will continue to be prohibited from political activity.

In the Budget
  • Increased spending on the Arts, including the National Endowment for the Arts
  • PBS receives same level of funding as last year.
  • Funding of Planned Parenthood. Apparently, they get the same money as last year.
Sad but I think this will change down the line

"As the Senate barrels toward the third government funding deadline of the year, Republicans appear in the dark about one key question: What will Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) do? The libertarian-minded senator caused an hours-long shutdown in February. He´s yet to say if he´ll give a repeat performance going into the midnight Friday deadline to avoid a partial closure. "Shame, shame. A pox on both Houses — and parties. $1.3 trillion. Busts budget caps. 2200 pages, with just hours to try to read it," he tweeted on Thursday..."

Rand HATES this bill:

@RandPaul: It’s a good thing we have Republican control of Congress or the Democrats might bust the budget caps, fund planned parenthood and Obamacare, and sneak gun control without due process into an Omni...wait, what?

this stupid ominbus bill + new tariffs did it do the DOW.

The Demorats won. If Chuckie Schumer is smiling, you know who the victors are. Face it, the Republicans are either totally inept in this game called politics or they are simply the Republican wing of the Democrat Party, either way I am done voting for them. I called Paul Ryan's office today and said he was a disgrace to true Republican ideals.

Well, The Rinos caved and Trump is settling for trash instead of insisting on a good bill. I am ashamed of all of them.

Trump himself has no problem with continued deficit spending, so he will gladly sign this bill all the while saying it is just to support the military.

Yes, the military gets an $80 billion bump in spending while there is a $63 billion jump in domestic spending. This is a lot of money.

And the RINOs caved to Dianne Feinstein and slipped NICS-FIX into the bill.

For clarification, Republican or True Conservative ideals?

And now you have John Bolton on the team replacing McMaster ... expect increased military mobilization.

True Republican ideals, at least that was what the whole party used to be all about. But of course now the party has two wings, regular big spending, big government Republicans (RINO's) and then conservative Republicans like those who make up the Freedom Caucus.

With most of that domestic spending completely un-constitutional.

A great choice if you ask me. I believe McMaster was soft on dealing with the Muslim terrorist organizations.
As I said, expect increased military mobilization. Personally I don’t care if we can take out North Korea and Iran without too much effort. But both you and I know that isn’t going to happen. The moment you put boots on the ground you are in for a protracted war. The Chinese will come on the side of Korea and Iran is its own Quagmire ... and both do have nukes so let’s just have at it. Now is Russa at war with anyone you are aware of?

The bill passed the Senate 65-32.

Democrats For: 40
Republicans For: 25

Democrats Against: 9
Republicans Against: 23

More Democrats voted for it than Republicans.

Winning!
