    Now, back to the topic of the thread....

    A book that I recommend for people of any denomination is Classic Christianity by Bob George. The book goes back to the basics of what the Bible teaches about salvation. He does not attack or address any specific denomination though he will show the errors in many of man's traditions (including Baptist ones).
