How in the world could you know possibly know this? Are you clairvoyant? Perhaps it is your right-wing desire to blame everything you don't like on "liberals." </font>
Because the jury themselves said so. </font>
Do you have a link to prove this?

Just because someone else kills others doesn't mean we must also. Why stoop to his level? We are supposed to be a better society. Call me liberal all you want, but I cannot take another life, nor will I ever support the state killing either.

Cheers,

Jim

Well, Jim, I kinda think you are a liberal. But I also think yer a good guy.

Joeseph, I'm normally with you 100%, but I just can't support the death penalty, in this case. He's a nut-job, for sure.

Even though God told all of us(not just the Israelites) that the penalty for murder is to be death?

Genesis 9:5-6 (ESV)
And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man.

[6] "Whoever sheds the blood of man,
by man shall his blood be shed,
for God made man in his own image.

Free medicines, free health checkups, free nursing services, free this and that, which the poor American hillbilly who has not violated any law and who would gladly join up to fight for his country, do not have.

In the 'death penalty' the convict is confined until he is dead. In "life without parole" the convict is confined till he is dead. If a catylist to make the entire process more time efficient is what you object to, then you blindfold him and tie his hands and I'll put the noose on him and drop the trap door.

For those who say we have no authorization to kill anyone, even for crime of murder, what authorization do we have to confine them for "life"; that is, really, where life and death meet?

1. Nobody evades death.

2. The jury did the correct thing in this case, not because he didnt warrant the death penalty, because that would not be punishment for him.

3. He wants death.

4. We arent here to give people what they want when they try to overthrow the US government and impose on our religious freedoms.

5. There will most certainly be a reckoning for him.

I don't care what he wanted or didn't want. Death would have been the only just sentence for this swine. Dead martyr or live hero. The jury chose a live hero who will spend the next 20-30 years on Primetime Live and 20/20 mocking the victims' families on the taxpayers dime.

Give prison justice some time to find the right moment Joseph and all he will be in a few years is another docu-drama on the Discovery channel.

Since he will be in solitary confinement, I don't have much faith in prison justice.

I don't know. He's going to be in a little cell, with a nice window view of the wall and sky. He'll get out an hour a day for exercise, and once a week to worship, if he behaves himself.

He can't even see another prisoner in the prison he's in. He'll rot a little at a time. Good enough.

AMEN, Joseph. I think we should have sent him straight to his 70 or so virgins and let him find out what REALLY happens to Islamic martyrs. :D
