Mueller "Testimony"

If you were honest you would have to say Mueller’s testimony was devastating to Democrats today

Honestly, today’s testimony was a nothing-burger just as I figured it would be, which is why I didn’t mind having other things to do today as I saw no need to be glued to the TV set or the radio. This did not change one vote for 2020 nor motivate anyone to vote or to not vote in 2020. Whatever one thought about Trump before today they will still think about him after today.

It all comes down to the economy in the fall of 2020. If it stays afloat, then Trump has a decent chance of being re-elected. If it slumps next year, then Trump has little chance of being re-elected. It’s no different than any other presidential election when there is an incumbent - it’s all about the economy.

Again very dishonest. This was not a nothing burger. This was an attempt at taking down a Democratically elected president and it failed hugely.

The Democrats are not even acting like it’s a nothing burger. That’s just you smugly pretending to be above politics.

You will be one of the leading voices against Trump in this election, is my protection.

Honestly, I knew it would never accomplish that. Mueller had already said he would not go beyond his report and he didn’t. It is not the first time that one of the halves of the duopoly came up with a lousy idea. If the duopoly had to run against real competition on a level playing field, both halves of it would have a tough time winning elections.

...or as the rancher put it:
“We know that old boy didn’t actually steal any horses, but he’s obviously guilty of trying to avoid being hanged for it.”
right, i tried to put it in an English venue of robin hood and the sheriff of Nottingham. :)

Wrong again. Trump will have no problem winning this election

The duopoly is driving this country into an eventual major financial earthquake which will make 2008 look like a small ripple. Re-electing Trump or electing some other member of the duopoly will not change the doomed financial path this country is on.

Reports are the legal immigrant sector is turning toward Trump. Also there is the "walkaway" campaign where Dems are turning away from the dem party and turning toward Trump.

I get the feel that's the case too. Not that Dems who turn away always will in the far future but many of them have seen the antics of their party not willing to get on with the business of making government work and are ticked off. I'm guessing they'll give Trump the nod for another term and allow their party to mature. Just doesn't seem to be enough of maturity in the present Dems.

SO, Mueller stumbled and stuttered through whatever this farce was today.
Someone said it was another nothing-burger, someone else disagreed, that about sums it up.

Anyone in the political demographics arts and sciences knows that Russia and A HOST of OTHER NATIONS have interfered in our elections starting around 1776 for goodness sakes.

Trump apparently went up .68 in the approved popularity poll today which pushes him from 44 to 45% - Donald thanks you Mr. Schiff, Mr. Nadler for the whatever this Mueller thing-a-ma-bob was today.

Put it to bed and do what you were sent to the hill to do without the 24/7 hate campaign for Donald Trump costing well over 40 million to date - or - add more percentage points to his approval rating. CHOOSE.

How so? What government policies are in place that are leading an "financial earthquake"?

This country will remain on that path as long as we have the Federal Reserve system.

humanly speaking we no longer put our faith in gold and silver but in POWER.

3/4 trillion to defense has most (no all) the world quaking in their proverbial boots.
Although some derive a sense of comfort from it.
Be nice to us. we will share some of the rest.

Play it safe - don't tread on me (bipartisan advice).

You could be on to something there. Go back and look at the previous (2016) election. Trump was not establishment Republican. Trump only ran against them in their own party, and won handily.

Unfortunately for us all, there are not enough additional 'Trumps' to take on all of the offices necessary to turn the ship around. One man cannot do it alone, even as president.
