My point is that ultrasound pictures are immaterial because they offer no evidence that the subject is a thinking human person.
A human person should be protected regardless of if said person is "thinking" or not.

When I was in highschool (first half of the 80's decade), we were taught that the human fetus follows the evolutionary process toward human development. It was a fraud perpetrated by an overzealous naturalist, and was exposed as such shortly after its publication, but has survived still in science textbooks. The last time I looked (mid - 90's) it was still in the new biology textbooks as unchallenged dogma.so if someone believes in evolution they may reproduce an animal of some kind not a human, because thats what they beleive?
