Not if one believes that humans evolved. The fetus could very well be a salamander.
well i don't think thats biblical do you?
it has nothing to do with what one beleives, but what God says, what God created, and this is not what He created.

My point was, that if one believes in Evolution, the "mass of tissue" at certain stages is not necessarily a human being to him.

Of course, what God says matters, and in this case, the state must wield the sword to protect the innocent, despite the debunked claims still perpetuated in highschool textbooks.

the line you quoted form me was about humans reproducing humans, as opposed to another animal.
so if someone believes in evolution they may reproduce an animal of some kind not a human, because thats what they beleive?
it doesn't matter what they beleive if it contradicts God and facts too.

When I was in highschool (first half of the 80's decade), we were taught that the human fetus follows the evolutionary process toward human development. It was a fraud perpetrated by an overzealous naturalist, and was exposed as such shortly after its publication, but has survived still in science textbooks. The last time I looked (mid - 90's) it was still in the new biology textbooks as unchallenged dogma.

So, at certain stages, the human fetus is not thought to be wholly human by the public-school educated masses.

There is one part of evolution that is true.

It is possible for a human to de-evolve into something less than human. They belong to the family Democratii senatori cranial retitis, or otherwise known as "Democratic Senators."
