People on this forum also believe it is okay to discriminate when it is part of one's religious belief. Read any of the threads about depriving Muslims of their religious liberties.

Do any of you think a Christian taxi driver should have the right to refuse a Muslim passenger if he knew he be saying his prayers while in the cab?

Do you have a link? I'm not sure if you exist! Thanks in advance!

Yep, now they're complaining that they have to share the prayer room at the Minneapolis-St, Paul airport with Christians, poor dears:

    http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=53621

And what "problems may be created" if they don't get their way again? Hmmmm...

Easy one, yes, under Sharia law based on the Koran, dhimmi-boi:

    http://answering-islam.org.uk/NonMuslims/rights.htm

Just read the Koran, killing non-believers is encouraged, not sure if you'd classify that as discriminatory. Is it?

    Jihad!

There are those in this very forum who think we should discriminate against Muslims by making their religion illegal.n not letting them immigrate, or giving them a litmus test before than can serve.

Sharia Law should not be Chrisitanised so that we do the same as them in their countries.

Why should we pattern our laws after theirs??

Yeah, I do. Because a Muslim praying needs to have his prayer rug spread, so he can say his prayers and touch his forehead to the ground.
It is going to be very inconvenient for a poor taxi driver who's just trying to earn a living.

First, the Muslim needs to face East. So he'll probably want the driver to head out to some straight highway facing East, then head back to town to drop him off wherever he's going. Or, he might just ask the driver to find some side street facing East approximately, get off the taxi, say his prayers, get back on, and then proceed.

Muslims are like the proverbial elephant. First the trunk, then the ears, then the head, then his right leg, then his left leg, then half his body, finally, you're out, his in.

They don't adjust. They always ask others to adjust to them.

So then a Muslim taxi driver should have a right to refuse a religion based fare as well.

    Still waiting, linkmeister........

"O believers, fight the unbelievers who are near to you, and let them find in you a harshness, and know that Allah is with the godfearing." (Sura 9.123)

    Heavy^^^^

Unless you don't submit to their every whim, you're "intolerant", as if they know or care about tolerance. After all:

3.85: And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers.

Well, in order to do all that, they'll need to amend the U.S. Constitution at least three times. Please read: http://www.sacred-texts.com/isl/htq/index.htm

It's impossible to Christianize Sharia law, they do NOT correlate.

Matthew 5:44, "But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you, and persecute you"

    v.

Surah 8 - 60. "Against them [nonbelievers] make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.

Why should they pattern our laws after theirs? To fufill this prophecy?:

It is a Quranic prophecy that "Submission" is destined to prevail.

[9:33, 61:9] He is the One who sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth, and will make it dominate all religions, in spite of the idol worshipers

    "Submission", of course, equals Islam.

Yeah, and it's a never ending ferris wheel.
    Round and round you go.
    Like the song goes:
Like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending, no beginning, in an ever spinning twirl....

In the end, it boils down to "whose country is this, anyway, theirs, or ours".

They're welcome to build their mosques.
They're welcome to practice their faith.
They're welcome to fast their fasts.
But they're not welcome to shove themselves down our throats.
Those streets are our streets, those towns are our towns, this country's history, both secular and religious, is not their history.
They came in, then they should adjust. Period.
Then perhaps the spinning wheel stops.

If this is intended for me I don't understand the question.

Of course we cannot Christianise Sharia Law. Why all these attempts then to do as they do and rob people of their religious liberty?

Except when they practice their religious freedom in America to stand and pray loudly to intimidate other Americans.

How about when Christian preachers stand in the street and preach loudly "intimidating" other Americans?

Either we have freedom or we don't.

    Roger

Parts of this post are a little confusing, but If I can I will address what I can.

Yes, I believe that as long as islam discriminates against Christians in more than 20% of their territory - they should not be allowed to immigrate into America.

It does not make sense to let foreigners dictate that we MUST let in muslims so that they can make problems here in the USA. Last time I checked, we were a sovereign country that did not take orders from other rulers - or their people.

Sharia law is evil. If it works for them - then let them kill each other for traffic offenses.

But, to expect muslims to assimilate peacefully and NOT demand that sharia law, within the next century, must be imposed upon the rest of the citizens of this country is just not realistic. Muslims presently demand that Jesus be treated as a false god throughout a third of the world. Demand that Jesus be desecrated . . . and give them the 'freedom' to force our ancestors to worship mohomed?

Brother, what is coming is evil. As men serving the Lord, we should sound the alarm about what is coming.

We don't have freedom anymore like we used to ever since 09/11. Look how our privacy has been violated because these nuts came into our country and killed innocent Americans....wanding at airports, taking our shoes off, talking about xraying us before we get on board, not permitted to take a bottle of drinking water on board, the Patriot Act....the list goes on and on.

They use our freedoms against us and it will be to our demise if we don't stop this religion within our own borders whose goal is to dominate and kill us and make us another country that belongs to allah. Did we let the Nazis come in here by the millions and demand we change to accomodate them so the Nazis can eventually take over our way of life and change our laws to suit them? Muslims and the Nazis have the same core beliefs. In fact, in WW2 the Nazis and Muslims were linked together as two horns of the same beast. We defeated the Nazis but never did defeat the muslims (because of oil) and now we are having to deal with their sick, murderous ideology now.

    Roger,

I am missing something. But, in islamic prayer it expected that one bows down before 'god'. I do not know how you expect me to compare praying out loud in a manner that I would not expect from Christians with muslims intentionally praying contrary to their religious practices in order to CAUSE fear.

Even though I am not 'proud' of street preachers, I do not know very many that are trying to incite the fear of the crowd to cause trouble.

Now if you asked me to compare what muslims are doing with going into a theater and yelling 'fire,' I can see the comparison there. Both are enclosed spaces. Both examples are not protected 'free speech.' Both are examples of terrorism.

Yes, either we have freedom from the fear of tyranny and terrorism or we have tyranny.

Of course, but we can't take away freedoms.

IF we are talking about limiting immigrations from certain nations that is one thing, but having a religious test to immigrate would go agaisnt the very fibre of our land.

Preach, sound the clarion call, warn against the evil, but we can't deny people their rights under the present constitution.

I have never encountered a muslim praying out loud in an intimidating manner...and I'm remembering 7 weeks in a muslim country.

Hailed many a cab in those 7 weeks too.

Shared the Gospel with a group of people in the foyer of a mosque

And the biggest blessing of all...We adopted a child who, because of his ethnicity, would have been raised muslim by law. Yet, as an American, he has religious freedom and that gives him a greater opportunity to accept Christ.

Religious freedom is a wonderful thing, but it means we will need to accept the fact that others will have other faiths or no faith at all. We also need to realize that this freedom gives us the greates opportunity for evangelism.

It seems there are some who are in favor of the government imposing restrictions on religion. I suppose to many, that will be ok, as long as its Islam or something foreign that is restricted. Unfortunately, it usually doesn't stop there.

This country has been down this road before...at one time, the dreaded religion that was persecuted was the Baptist faith.

I keep seeing posts where someone feels its time to use the government to rid us of the problems of false religions, homosexuality, etc. Wouldn't it be nice if we took the more biblical approach and evangelized instead?

Of course, that's coming from the Bible...it may not be endorsed by FOX News.
