The organization buys a bulk of tickets at a discount and makes them available to their, members? at a lower price. The homosexual community has been doing this for a few years here at Six Flags Over Texas, and one day a year the park is filled with same-sex frivolity. The Gay community advertises this in their publications as Gay Day at Six Flags. Funny thing is, Six Flags doesn't tell anyone else about it.
James is right. It's a non-profit buying bulk tickets at group rates. My church does it with Disneyland and Angels games all the time. The Six Flags corporation has nothing to do with it.
Here in nearby Anaheim, the Disneyland Resort gets complaints every years from people who object to "Gay Days" at Disneyland every year, even though Disney itself has nothing to do with it. A third party buys group tickets at a discount rate and promotes the event to sell the tickets.
If a private groups wants to buy group tickets to an event ot theme park, I don't care if it's my church, the local mosque, members of the Klingon Language Institute, or local chapter of the Americal Kennel Club. 'Tis a free country. Let 'em.

In the case of the Gay's buying tickets to Six Flags, the problem is that the park does not disclose this information to the public. You may say that it is not the parks responsibility to tell the public, but it becomes a problem for families who have come in some cases from out of state to enjoy the day at a 'family' park.
If the Boy Scouts buy a bunch of tickets to the park, the marquis outside will say 'Welcome Boyscouts' or something nice. There is no big sign that says 'Welcome Homos' because Six Flags doesn't want to scare of the family clientelle. So this family from out of state buys their tickets (at almost $50 a piece full price) and goes inside the park. At some point little Jenny asks 'daddy, why are those men holding hands' and daddy starts to take a good look around him... by the time he figures out what is going on, it is too late. He has paid his money, redeemed his tickets and there are no refunds to be had. He can suffer the rest of the day at Six Flags over Sodom, or be out of pocket for the money he paid to show his family a good time.
Protesting at the park is primarily to warn families about what is happening that day. Many of them turn around and express their gratitude for the warning.

My cousin works for Disney and informed me that they do tell people at the gate when it is Gay Day. That way they can make the decisions to come in or not. And people can receive some sort of voucher to come another time. She also attends a Bible study at work. Which I was surprised to hear about.

What do you do when it is not Gay Day at (Insert theme park of your choice here)? Does anyone honestly believe that homosexuals do not leave their homes unless it is sanctioned by the CFGAL? I know for sure that if I cannot take off my shoes at Disney, then someone wearing nothing but chaps isnt going to get too far.
I do recall the area posting notices that whenever they have parades for which I am grateful because I would hate to be caught up by that in traffic.
The military gets a great discount at theme parks as well (something like 20%) or even free from time to time (military appreciation days). Do you think that is a draw for war protestors or a cue to stay home?
