I like Cruz - but at the moment - his seniority is # 59 and could move up 5-10 positions after the election

The fact that the only Godly politician is left off the list says more about this thread than anything else.

Do you mean Senator Sasse?
Of course.
He was the original producer of the White Horse Inn with Michael Horton. He has consistently lived out his faith, deciding to do what is right, even if it goes against Party. God gave him a landslide victory in Nebraska in 2020 despite Trump trying to bully and harass him to follow his antichrist agenda. Sasse is a Presbyterian PCA and follower of our King.

It shocks me how many Christians spend more time on political discussion and strategy than they do on Christ and His Kingdom. It seems they think that they can bring in the Kingdom by their own political maneuvers and manipulations. The story of a young Moses should warn us that such attempts will result in utter failure.

I view Ben Sasse as the "Josiah" of this country. God may raise him up, or God may give us over to wicked leaders as we have seen over the past 3 Presidents.

Then feel free to make a poll of Godly politicians.*

The junior Senator from Nebraska in his 2018 book THEM: Why We Hate Each Other and How to Heal recalled:

[Sasse and wife Melissa lived in Chicago, 1994-95] "Embarrassingly, given our beliefs about the importance of the local church, we did not even join a congregation, so we missed out on the fellowship of friends in the pews. After less than two years, we were gone—off to southern California"

But check out what he claimed in 2007 when seeking a post in the Bush administration:

Ben Sasse: "I have consistently been a member of a Christian church wherever I have lived"
(2007 bio he provided when being confirmed as Assistant Health and Human Services Secretary)

Why would one lie about something like that?
Awful!

LOL, the word "consistently" means that in general, he has been a member of a Christian church. For less than a full year, he and his wife went church shopping in Chicago. How shocking and "Awful" that is!!!

Now, let's look at the multiple affairs, marriages, corporate abuses, lies and distortions of Donald Trump! Will you come out and declare Donald Trump to be not only awful, but to be...antichrist? You should.

Honestly, you should be embarrassed by your post, Jerome. Just awfully embarrassed.

Have you read the entire book, THEM, by Sasse? It is excellent. If you haven't read it all, please do so. It's certainly better than anything Donald Trump has ever written.

So you are saying there is only Godly politician in the USA?
That I am aware of, yes.

Certainly it would be great to create a list of truly God-fearing political figures. Figures whose allegiance is to God first, over Party. Share them here if you wish. I'll listen.

As a servant of the King, it is His authority that establishes the world authorities.

The anti Christ will come. Many are already in place.

I rejoice!!! My Redeemer is all that much nearer!

Senator Ben Sasse from Nebraska is the only Godly man to vote for.
You actually don't even recognize how fallacious of a claim this is in your argument, do you? Yet, most 10 year old children understand the value of such reasoning to be immature rhetoric. Maybe you should find a new hobby, debate doesn't seem to suit you?

Austin, do you have a shrine of this antichrist on your wall that you worship? Stop putting your faith into this antichrist and turn to God.

It shocks me how many Christians spend more time on political discussion and strategy complaining, shaming, and exhibiting extreme TDS against other Christians than they do on Christ and His Kingdom.

He ought to vote for the Democrat because that's what his leader (ordained by God) Joe Biden wants him to do, according to his (and only his) understanding of Romans 13. Whatever.

(sigh) Any on your list beats what we've got now. Even Ben Sasse, even Kamala Harris - they are at least sane.

Squire, Ben Sasse used to work in the GWB administration, he's some former college president. Was elected senator on a promise to end Obamacare back in 2014. Great on pro-life, at least with the rhetoric. He's sort of a taller, better-looking Jeff Flake. Old boy is a player IMO - he ran far to the right in both his primaries and general elections, could manage to shut his TDS mouth to trick Trump into endorsing him in 2020 to ward off a primary challenge, then went back carping BEFORE the general election, don't think he voted for Biden but for the "Republican ticker", whatever that means - probably left the top spot empty or "voted for Pence" again.

So, yeah, he's an antichrist that doesn't deserve any shrine.

Of course, Sasse is a Godly Christian so he couldn't be antichrist. However, Mr Trump is no Christian.
