My mother is dying.

It seems an underlying factor to her being so sick this summer with covid and the rest has been cancer. It's in her lymph nodes, lungs, esphogas area, and liver.

She started hospice today and is bedridden and talks out of her head.

The hospital bed is on its way. Starting this morning, I have around the clock sitters to help.

I have no idea how long this will last.

Please pray for God to be merciful.

The Lord will be merciful. But I hope that her time of suffering will be short. You want her to be with you, but you also want her to ushered into Heaven as soon as possible. Does she have moments of lucidity? Does she recognize you?

After this post I will pray for you and her and others who love her.

I am so sorry. I will pray with you through this time. I will pray for your mother to make this transition from life to life eternal with relative ease, meeting Jesus face-to-face in a short time.

It is my hope that you can also use this time to settle any unresolved issues in moments of lucidity.

May God's tangible presence surround you and your family and give you light in this dark time of loss.

Yes, in my mind, God's mercies come many times in taking his children home. But that's his call. I'm prepared, but I'm not ready if that make sense. She knows me, but can barely communicate at all.

I know exactly how you feel, I was with my father in hospice for many days, he also suffered for a while, and one day in the morning I received that dreaded call.

Both my parents are not believers and so all my relatives, but I prayed for them constantly, but now it is up to GOD what to do with them.

So I will pray for your mother as well in order to ease he passage.

Cherish the time you have with your mother now and draw comfort from the knowledge that you will spent eternity with her.
Know that all of us here have you and your family in our prayers.

Sorry Scarlett, it does make sense, I went through this last Summer with my Mom, I wanted her conscience for that last one more bit of recognition and communication but at the same time needed to keep her medicated to stay out of pain. I thank God my sisters and I brought in hospice - they were such a help in this sad time.
