I just joined this morning and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm retired from AT&T and live in a poor rural county in Central Florida. The church I attend is small conservative Baptist. I myself am more IFB but the church is SBC. We have under 100 members, only about 20 come regularly but we are hoping to change that. We have a new pastor who wants to grow the church and impact the community for Christ. A few of us are excited about the prospects. I have just accepted the role of facilitator for the WMU so I am eager to begin. I see a bus ministry in our future and I'm going to contact Angel Food Ministries early next year to see if that's a mininstry that would be right for us. I have many more ideas I won't go into here just now but I feel God moving us in wondrous ways. Anyway I'm going to wander around the forums now and see what I can get into. :wavey:

Welcome to the Baptist Board, Fawn. I'm from Michigan and can't get used to the southern Baptist churches in Florida that are so different from northern Baptist.
