My Prediction On the Democrat Nominee

Mark this OP. The Democrat nominee for POTUS will be a woman. I predict Kamala Harris will be the nominee and her running mate will be Julian Castro. This will be the historic presidential "Ticket of Color" and the Dems will play it to the hilt. (The only other possibility would be Lizzie Warren with the gay guy, Mayor Pete).

Joe Biden is too white, too old, and not firing on all cylinders. Bernie Sanders, while the electrons are snapping okay, is just too white and too old also. All the others are totally irrelevant, none of them have any chance at the nomination at all. So there you have it, I'm going go with the first "Ticket of Color" - the Harris/Castro pairing. You read it here first folks!

I don't agree with your prediction at all, but I sure hope you're right - Kamala would be a disaster as their nominee, think of Nancy Pelosi trying to run as a national candidate, outside the Bay Area. There you go,

Even if it was Kamala, Castro would not be the VP nominee, they are both from the same state. Regardless, she could never withstand Trump and there is plenty of material to work with. Even her old married sugar daddy thinks shes unelectable and her own father just about called her a liar when she implied that smoking weed was a family thing. I know two people that used to work under her in the SF D.A.'s office, they are liberals and they couldn't stand her, said she was arrogant and entitled.

They were working there when she unseated Terrance Hallinan, the prototype SF moonbat, after he had the audacity to prosecute the black police chief. Hallinan was a big opponent of the death penalty for criminals, and Kamala was/is too. She wouldn't even go after the death penalty when a cop was gunned down by an illegal alien right after she took office. Then there's the Bologna family and their tragedy but sanctuary cities come first with Kam. She also sent over ten cops out to arrest that guy that taped PP, she weaponized her office.

Not a great campaigner, either - she barely beat a Republican in CA to become state AG, and the only reason she won her Senate seat is because of this state's jungle primary. She wants to abolish ICE and will issue EOs to confiscate guns, how in the world could she win in NH? And you can't get anywhere without the black vote for that nomination, and their choice of candidate continues to be Joe Biden maybe because Kamala isn't even black and she's married to some Jewish guy.

But I don't know, supposedly the Democrats have nerfed the superdelegates, so they might go far left with her but I can't see her getting over fifty percent of all the primary votes. Let's hope she does, go Kamala!

Harris is a Californian. Castro is a Texan. California is reliably Democratic. Texas is heading toward purple, so Castro might make sense, although it's probably four to eight years early..

Trump received only 44.9 percent of primary votes, so a majority is not necessary.

You may be right. The Democrats operate from emotions and symbolism. That is what got Obama elected. He was not elected because of his policies. He was elected because at the time, there was a "cool" factor attached to him. He was the cool candidate because he was black and young people, especially, wanted the novelty of having a black as president. It would be historical and they wanted to be on what they thought was the right side of history.

To have a black woman with a Hispanic VP would be a Democrat dream come true. The symbolism would be irresistible for the Left. And we would go back to the tyranny of race that existed under Obama wherein if you disagreed with any of his policies, you are racist. The Dems would once again, hold the Republican side of the aisle hostage with the race card just like they did under Obama. That's why the Republicans would not oppose Obama and gave him free reign. They did not want the word "racist" attached to their name during re-election bids.

I keep confusing that Castro guy with the former mayor of LA for some reason, lol, I stand corrected, and now agree that that could be the ticked with Kamala. But if so, the general won't shake down like that again, Good - Trump is no McCain or Romney, he will hit back hard,

Trump received only 44.9 percent of primary votes, so a majority is not necessary.

But this the Democrat party. Under the old D system, a Trump would have NEVER won the nomination, Superdelegates flock to the establishment candidate.

The DNC has changed the rules back to where their superdelegates don't kick in until the second ballot if nobody gets a majority of the primary votes. The superdelegates used to pledge early, and that's why Hillary always had such a big lead over Bernie in delegates. She would have won the nomination anyways, since she had most of the primary votes.

That was a two-way race early, though, and this time it won't be. From my understanding, the DNC beefed up the superdelegate thing to prevent another George McGovern. They may be sorry they changed the rules:

Biden, Harris in virtual tie after dramatic shift in black support, poll shows

She is surging, but I bet Kamala, Biden, Liz Warren and possibly Bernie are there by May. Trump would destroy her.

Harris, and vice president nominee Buttigieg.

Gotta get those intersectionality points. That's all that matters.
