My take on Nolan Richardson

    I don't think so. I think it will be over in few days as Nolan has failed to prove his case.

    I wish him well in his retirement. I wish he had kept recruiting and coaching and not been so openly critical of those fans that critcized him.

    Evidently, he has just never gotten over the racism he experienced as a child in El Paso, Texas. He's not been able to move on after 50 years or so. I feel sorry for him.

    The judge said it was a matter of "wounded pride" and that he had not proved his case.

    The willingness to fight the fight of racial injustice in the coaching ranks (North, South, West, East) is a valiant one that should continue. Richardson will continue his work as a mentor for younger coaches and Arkansas will always be aware of racial sensitivities when they hire someone, as they should be. So even though he didn't win, overall I think there was progress made, even if it is a baby step with one school.
