Because of the eclectic nature of all New Testament Greek textual readings being used in current translations being used, it is a mix regarding a reference and teaching, case by case. Plus the variants in how same text is translated.

And theologians of the past went to bed about 6 or 7 pm because it got dark and there was no electricity. So since those theologians were very effective in spite of no electricity back in 1611 - then why do we need electricity

Salty you don't need electricity... You can use a kerosene lamp or candles and write with quill feathered pen with an inkwell... Your previous Army, so go to bed and get up with the chickens... That way you will be a true old theologian... Brother Glen

I have been simply writing a ref on an index card, 1 John 5:9-13. Then explainning that that passage God promises one can know one can have eternal life.
