I've lived only in New Jersey and Maine, unless my 2 years at Johns Hopkins would add Maryland. Until I was 47, I'd never been west of the Finger Lakes or south of MD. Since then, we've been to the West Coast and down as far as GA (wife's been to FL) and visited our son/DIL in southern Honshu where he's taught English as a foreign language since 2003, and to Norway (with a couple days in Iceland en route) where my wife's grandparents were born. Picked up some Norwegian during/after that trip but the only Japanese I remember is hai! and arigato.
Hey, that will get you started in Japan. :)

I've lived in Kansas, Illinois, Tennessee, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Colorado, Japan, Indiana, and am now ensconced back in Wisconsin.

I've preached in half of the States, and ministered in seven countries: US, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Bangladesh, Cameroon. I am so blessed to serve God in this way! I often thank Him for the path He put me on.
