I know Stanley. He brought his truck into my shop because he thought he needed a new muffler. Oh, He came in just in time. Not only did he need a new muffler, he needed new tires, new brakes, an oil change, front end alignment and his windshield wiper fluid capped off. I was glad to fix all the things that I found out was wrong with his truck.

I work nights, a new place every night, and my job
can be both dangerous and scary.

The other night, I arrived on the job. Suddenly, the
door opened, and I was face to face with some
lady who started beating on me! She whaled on
me until I fell off the front porch, then she called the
police on me! I am never trying that window again!!

Sounds kinda dangerous. On my job I meet new people all the time. Theyr'e not always the friendliest people out there. I go with them wherever they want to. Some talk, some don't, and some never stop.

My workspace is a little cramped, but I get to get out and stretch my legs every once in a while.

I have a challenging job that is very rewarding. Everyone's job should be something they enjoy doing. In my job I have to go the distance. Sometimes it takes me several attempts to get to my destination. I have to keep driving myself.

Sometimes it gets rough. Most people enjoy being around the sand, but it only slows me down. Every now and then I have to pitch my way out of a situation. I usually make18 stops a day. On a good day I can make 36.

In my line of work I get to meet all kinds of people. It is fun to cruise around town in one of the biggest vehicles on the road. I have to make many stops during the day. Maybe sometime I'll be around to give you a ride when you need one.

pal and I walk to the grocery store once a week
and walk downtown for the essentials when it
