Well, I thought my metablisim was good because I used to could eat all night and day if I wanted. When I reached the 30 mark I can just smell food and seem to add a pound. I am now 37 and I look back at younger pictures and can really tell I have put on some weight.

I used to be like that.. had to be really careful about what I ate, but when I turned about 17, I dropped 30 lbs, and now I can eat all I want! :D

I fail miserably to stay on my diet everytime I go to the buffet. So much food. Too little time.

I love a buffet as much as anyone but have you ever thought about how nasty that it is. I can just imagine people reaching for things and hair and dandruff falling in the food from there clothes and arms. I also wonder if they wash before they handle the dippers. I am weird but it does bother me but not enough to keep me away. I just ask the Lord to bless my food and eat all that I can fit on my plate.

I don`t savour the idea of all those unwashed fingers in my food either, what about a bowl to wash fingers in on the side ??????

Maybe we could get a law passed that buffets have to furnish a sink, hair nets and clean overshirts before you eat.

I only go to the finer resturants that serve menu items only. The owner is a personal friend of mine and He ensures me that cleanliness is the first rule in food preparation. I would not be caught dead somewhere that has a buffet. All those germs. The thought of someone sneezing on the sneezeguard is just underneath me.

Speaking of sneezing, my husband and I where eating at Wendy's Fast Food, and I saw something that made my stomach turn. The lady that was cleaning the tables sneezed all over one of the tables she was wiping off. She used the same rag to wipe other tables.
