She is too late. Last Tuesday, the local school board won a referendum on property taxes to raise them 35%, wiping out my federal tax cut gains. Our kids are not very polite so it is probably expensive to try to educate them.

Yes, it's for the poor little rich kids of this upper-middle class suburb--their schools really do stink but it is because the teachers are so far left. A lot of rich people don't have time for their kids so they give them money. The high school kids drive much better cars than I do. That kinda crap kills full states. New Jersey now is at junk bond status which means its now so expensive to live that they cannot attract businesses. They lost Amazon to Pennsylvania. Fustrating cause it was all teed up for Northwest NJ and Ex Gov Jim McGrievie ( a Democrat) screwed it up. It takes time to change course. And if they want to be on target for the November midterm elections, the Democrats need to start changing course now.
Like it or not, a significant number of Americans are actually happy these days. They are making money. They feel safe, and they agree with with the president’s protectionist trade policies, his call for more American jobs, even his immigration stance.
The jobs growth reports, the North Korea summit and the steady economy are beating out the Stormy Daniels scandal and the Robert Mueller investigation in Middle America, hands down.
Rather than stoking the base by attacking Trump, Democrats need to come up with a platform that addresses the average voters’ hopes and concerns. Not just the needs of underdogs or whatever cause happens to be the media flavor of the week...."
Willie Brown is well known locally as a superb political tactician. Trump and the GOP should thank their lucky stars that Pelosi's in Congress instead of Willie. Mr. Brown is cut from the same cloth as Tip O'Neil. On the other hand, Brown would not have been Obama's lackey like Pelosi.
