I think delusion is a better term. That would apply for any such religious association with a political figure, regardless of party.
Perhaps.

I do not think that it is heresy.
Ed to add: I misunderstood your point about heresy. I do not think that criticism of the American Church regarding Trump is heresy. I do think that the attitude that gives rise (I think that is the expression) to illustrations like this is borderline.
Cheers.
I just think the guy is spoiled, childish & possibly growing senile.....all in all, mental. But we have Pense!Yup describes Obama to a T. It also describes the political inverse of Obama to a T. One of the many reason I'm done with the dulopoply.

No its just fanciful. To show Christ guiding Trump's hand while writing to me is heresy. To do so is to indicate that Trump's writing is inspired, like Scripture.
I don't support Trump (or the Republican agenda), but I would trade Trump for Pence in a heartbeat. I would disagree with much of what Pence supports, but at least he'd be an adult about it.
That's using your head. But here is what you'd get, a Born Again Catholic using his religion for RC agenda....IE salvation thru a sacrificial/sin/penance world view. The guy, if you scratch deep enough, is a zealot.
Let's not forget that God raises up, puts down, raises up, etc... leaders of this world - whomever he chooses.
After his season of insanity Nebuchadnezzar glorified God.
Same could be said for Stalin & Hitler right?
My wife insists he goes home & slips into something comfortable....a Nazi SS Uniform---same as Flinn. LOL!Again, not a Pence fan either. It's like choosing whether I want to be shot in the stomach or the foot. I'd prefer neither, but if I have to choose, the foot's my preference. Maybe it would hit my bunion.
Same could be said for Stalin & Hitler right?
No. As far as I know they didn't pray Nebucadnezzar's prayer.Same could be said for Stalin & Hitler right?
Yea......a cracked pot!Think you are spot on!
All you have to do is read the OT and His using many that would compare accurately to either of the two you mentioned.
Is God judging America via Trump?? Too early to tell, but personally I feel that He did judge America via the ZERO, and just like in Israel enough citizens (& specially Christians) pleaded for mercy that we are given a second chance to get us back on the road to trusting/obeying Him, & if we blow it this time then Trump could be exactly the vessel He uses.

I agree. I misread your earlier comment to read that criticism of Christians' seeming adoration of Donald Trump was heresy. That will teach me to post before my morning coffee.
I have to tell you, you know, it’s part of reporting this case, this election, the feeling most people get when they hear Barack Obama’s speech. My, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don’t have that too often.
I live in Indiana. I liked Pence as a rep. Not so much as a governor. He followed too closely in his predecessor's footsteps of "cut spending on everything and hoard cash." We can't keep teachers. The DOT uses chip fill to repair our roads. I was just not all that happy with him as governor. But before that, he was an awesome rep. and made sure his district was ok. Just my $0.02.I just think the guy is spoiled, childish & possibly growing senile.....all in all, mental. But we have Pense!
