National PIZZA Day ... what is your favorite kind of PIZZA?

That is good, but the Detroit one is better, as in deep dish but with that crunchy edge crust!New York pizza is the best pizza ever.I love a good slice but I also love a few that some of our pizza places make: Chicken marsala is mozzarella and chicken marsala on the top and it's fantastic. Greek salad pizza is also great - a sicilian crust with a Greek salad on top. Finally, nothing beats a good old garbage pie - a loaded New York style pizza.
But that's not pizza. I agree - I love a good Chicago deep dish with sausage and onions but if you want a true pizza, ya gotta get a good NY pie.

On a day to day basis, Costco Combination. For special occasions, Papa Murphy's Chicago Style
Y'all can talk about NY style, Chicago style, Detroit, Cincinnati, Brooklyn or what ever but down here the best is extra cheese with roadkill of the day. As long as it is fairly fresh (on the road for less than a day) and has jalapenos included. HMMMM HMMMM GOOD!

It ALWAYS needs to be served on a paper plate - white - with ruffles.
It's gotta bleed thru the paper and greace up the table or your lap ....depending on where and how you are eating it...that's New York
Oh, and no eating with forks and knives---ya fold it!
We stopped doing that....now we just buy Stoffers bread pizzers. Not that bad...but nuthin like Nona's. Nobody makes the biscotti and the ravioli like her neither!
