Netanyahu era ends in Israel as new government survives key parliament vote
The Benjamin Netanyahu era is over in Israel. After 12 consecutive years in power, and another three before that, the country’s longest serving prime minister will no longer be its leader.

An unlikely coalition that came together to oust Netanyahu survived a confidence vote in the Israeli parliament Sunday, passing 60-59, overcoming the final hurdle on its path to unseating him and taking a fragile hold on power.

This has a piece with information on the new Prime Minister.
Naftali Bennett was born in Haifa in 1972 to American immigrants to Israel. When his family moved to Israel from California, they considered themselves secular. He and his family, over the years, have slowly become Modern Orthodox. He will be Israel’s first yarmulke-wearing prime minister.

Yeah, and Bennett's wife is a pastry chef.

Not too sad to see Bibi go and he may be back yet. Longest serving PM in Israel, he lived in this country for awhile during his formative years and this new coalition seems very fragile but I have no problem with Bennett, he's probably to the right of Bibi and said he wanted Trump to win in 2016 so everyone would shut up about the two state solution. That other guy, Lapid, is probably to the left of both of them, but he's not Labor and he hates the BDS garbage the Squad and others support in this country. New government seems unstable, though.

I was watching OAN news today when they showed his last speech as PM.
He called Bidens White House weak.:Laugh Probably because he's too much of a gentlemen to call it occupied by thieves and traitors.

Only God knows what's next for Israel.

The tone of the article reminders me of something a history professor said in class. Before WW2, Lady Astor was on a tour of the Soviet Union and asked by officials in USSR about leaders in Great Britain. She spoke of various leaders and her thoughts about them, notably not mentioning Churchill. When asked about him she stated, "Oh, he's done."
I doubt Netanyahu is done anymore than Churchill was.
