Tomorrow is my daughter, Alex's birthday. She will be 26. I don't feel old enough to have a 26 year old daughter [IMG]

Do your children make you feel old?

    Yes, mine are 30 - 30 - 27
Now its grandchildren - 5 in all.

Does having grandchildren make you feel old?

Oh No! Grandchildren bless my heart and I thrive on the little ones! In actuality I have 4 on earth and one in heaven but since we legally adopted our first grandchild as our own child, I usually say I have 4 children and 3 living grandchildren. I look forward to our 26 year old finding a nice young lady and starting a family. You can never have too many grandchildren!
    (My children are 32, 27, 26 and 8 1/2)

What about at Christmas tho? Do you work really hard to keep gifts equal?

Yes to the Christmas gift question.

Do you have enough money to buy all those Christmas gifts?

If it falls on a Sunday. [IMG]

Are there any holidays or special events that your church may reschedule a service for another time or cancel?

We don't have Sunday Night Services on many holidays so families can be together. (Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc.) Sunday's Service is an extended service with patriotic music, Color Guard Presentation of the colors, etc.

Does your church have patriotic services?

[IMG] Not likely to EVER happen in Oz mate [IMG]

Maybe it is because we all know we live in the best place in the world :D Or it could be that Aussies are the race that couldn't care less about much of anything. Or a combination of both?

So I guess the question is, which is it? [IMG]

That sounds painful. Does it require taking your shirt off, being tied to a wagon wheel and whipped? If so, no thanks.

How many pairs of headphones do you have?

Actually when the turning of the year rolls around and I get my new calendars, I write in all the anniversaries and birthdays and other dates we want to remember...so anyone who looks at the calendar can know. I would say that my husband is a little more conscientious about remembering impromptu dates...my memory requires planning and documentation. (complicated enough answer?)

Are you usually early, on time or late?

Wisdom Seeker, How are you? I hope today is a better day for you [IMG]

I know exactly what you mean about the dates and calenders [IMG]

We are improving, but do have a reputation for being late for most things  People are now quite used to waiting for "those Scotts" [IMG]

do you speak a foreign language? :D

I am much better today, thank you for asking.

I used to always be either early or on time....then I had children. Now, we usually arrive barely on time or 5 minutes late. It's frustrating...people seem to give that look when you're late. Do you know the one?

I speak a little spanish. I used to be fluent...but with language...if you don't use it, you lose it. Now, I understand, but have to think way too hard to find the words.

Are you having a nice Friday?

We had a lovely time with our best friends but now I'm beat! We ate and swam and played that Rapid Fire Uno game and then visited for hours.

    Do you like games?

We just did fireworks in the front yard. We may go to our friends house for more on the marsh.

How long has it been since you've had a double scoop from Baskin Robbins?

I have never had one. We have a DQ here, but I usually get a shake or a sundae.

    Do you mix your flavors?

Many, many, many years..... and I prefer the 'cookie dough' flavor now.

Are some fireworks illegal where you live?
