Iced Tea. Suntea to be exact. The only time I drink hot tea is usually when I'm sick.

(Gib, I agree with you about the lobby chat on Yahoo. That is why I quit playing there)

Anyone besides me play Pachisi online at Flipside.com?

Haven't yet, but I can [IMG]

(I always minimize the lobby for Yahoo games, so I don't have to worry about the chat there - I THINK there's a way to turn it off, also)

What is your favorite kind of sundae?

    Sidewalk

Have you ever said you were sorry to make someone feel better, even though you thought you were right?

I'm sure I have, but I can't remember when. Most of the time I try to make sure the other person knows I'm sorry that they're upset, or that what I've said had upset them, but that my opinion stands.

Q: Do you need absolute quiet to fall asleep, or do you like some background noise?

I can sleep equally well either way.

    What's a sidewalk sundae?

[IMG] A sidewalk sundae is vanilla ice cream with a fudge center surrounded by a hard shell of chocolate, in the form of an extra long ice cream bar on a stick. I remember them fondly from when my children were still young, and my husband would buy me one, when he was getting ice cream for them from the ice cream man. They sort of make me feel loved, like he did.

Do you have a fond memory that you could share here?

    What a nice memory, Charlotte!

I think mine is my special time with my maternal grandfather. He used to pick me up from school and take me to my piano lesson once a week. He listened to AM radio, all the good stuff from the late 30s and into the 40s, and we'd just sit silently in the car, listening, during the 15 minute drive to my lesson. Once there, he'd always tell me, with a smile, to "play fast," and then we'd listen in the car on the way to my house, where he'd drop me off. He almost always had a piece of candy for me, either licorice or Mary Janes, and to this day whenever I eat those candies, I think of him. It's also how I picked up my love for the music of that era. Q: Do you ever wonder what your life would be like had you made one decision differently?

Nope, I'm not much for gardening. In fact I was thinking that I should get some tools to make weeding the roses a little easier. But it was just a thought...not like I ran to the hardware store or anything.

If you bumped into someone from High School, would they recognize you?

IF they remembered me at all, absolutely. If I bumped into someone from GRADE school, they would. I haven't changed much (face-wise) since about 3rd grade (or younger). I was never the "popular" one though... though at times I was "infamous"

    Were you popular?

The several that still live in our home town do. Many who attended the 25th reunion did - but that was 11 years ago. I was the tallest in my class - so maybe yes!!

Was I popular? Well known - I wouldn't say popular!!

What is your favorite non-adult beverage?

Um . . . orange juice. Or apple juice. But I mostly drink water.

Q: Did you get more introverted or extroverted as you got older?

It depends on who you ask - if my wife answered the question she would say extroverted.

I would probably say introverted - the older I get the less I like having a fuss made over me.

How about you - introvert or extravert?

Not really, but I'm afraid that's my own fault. I would like to. Every time we move, I tell myself, "I WILL get to know my neighbors this time!" and every time... I don't :(

Do you live in the city or the country?

I live in a smallish city, farming community mostly. I think we have 16,000 now.

Do you make your own jelly?

I haven't, but I wouldn't mind learning how [IMG] Someone said it's cheaper to buy the fresh fruit and make your own jelly.

    Do you have a garden?
