    yes - its 48' by 80'

We usually plant corn, string beans, tomatos, peppers, zucinni, winter squash, onions, etc.

Nothing like home canned string beans! :D

    What is your favorite vegetable?

I have enough kid left in me to absolutely LOVE corn on the cob. But I guess my favorite would have to be home grown tomatoes, although some people say the tomato is not a vegetable but a fruit.

Do you like the taste of licorice and root beer?

(edited to add the next question, lol)

Oh yes! Licorice and root beer are two of my favorites!

Q: Do you take photos of friends and family and keep them around your house?

Yes. Unfortunately my color printer needs a cartridge and I'm suffering from impatience to get them printed and put up. (My brother who I hadn't seen in the last almost 4 years came for a visit)

    Do you edit your photos?

    Sometimes [IMG]

    Corn isn't a vegetable either - it's a grain [IMG]

I greatly dislike both root beer and licorice.

    Do you like chocolate?

Yes. I use a pair of scissors to cut my mother-in-law out of the picture.

I use a sharpie to blacken their teeth out and draw sunglasses.

    Are you a Pepper too?

My favorite kind of nut is Sue..."sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't." [IMG] I couldn't resist.

My family drinks 2%, I rarely drink milk. (don't get me started, I have a whole soap box viewpoint on adults drinking milk)

Do you get all your chores done before you log onto this site?

Um, no, I don't. [IMG] This is like a little break for me during the day.

Are you soy-phobic? (I ask this because every time I bring tofu or soy milk to work, my coworker has a big "ew, nasty" ready for me, even though she's never tried either)

No, but I am somewhat at a loss how to prepare it. I know that soy based baby forumula does make for a smellier baby. But that is as far as my "ew" goes regarding soy.

Do you eat the recomended 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day normally?

No, but I really need to.

I rarely drink milk, either. In fact, my children rarely do, too. The calcium in milk is not used efficiently by our bodies - there are better sources. Cow's milk was made for calves :D And actually, nutritionally, goat's milk is better for you. ok, off that soap box ;)

Oh, and as for soy... I don't care for it in general... read a very good article about it written by Debi Pearl that you might look for on http://www.nogreaterjoy.com/ (or is it .org?)

Do your children flush every time they go? (current pet peeve!!)

My granddaughter absolutely LOVES to flush! When she's here she flushes TOO much. Sometimes I get scared the well will run dry, LOL.

What yearly salary would you consider a "comfortable income?"

The one year we made $31k, that was pretty comfortable. We can live well on that.

Too bad we're only making around $20k

Yes, big bus ministry...we have a fleet of school busses and visit every corner of the Antelope Valley .It's amazing how the Lord has blessed in this area.

My husband and son are going camping this weekend, leaving my daughters and I on our own...any ideas of fun things we can do while they are away?

Make cookies; rent a "chick flick"; pop popcorn; teach her to crochet or sew; go for a bike ride; go shopping; read a good book together; play board or card games...

What time do you go to bed?
