    Color me impressed, Sue! [IMG]

Fishing? I like fishing, but I don't go very often. When my family goes to the shore we usually take a day for fishing, and every now and then I'll go with friends down to their river house and fish in the Potomac, but not too terribly often.

I do bait my own hooks, though, and take the fish off. I don't clean them, though. Something about piles of scales that creeps me out. Oh, and I don't eat them, either. [IMG] But I catch them for those that do.

    Q: Butter or margarine?

Since neither are good for you - I'm going to be BAD with the one that tastes the best - BUTTER!!!

Years ago we used to buy heavy cream by the gallon and make our own butter. We even made some at school when our daughters were in third grade (they are now 30) and our son was in kindergarten (he's now 27).

What home project are you currently working on?

Garden? What's a garden? [IMG] Okay, I have a planter of grass for my cat, grown from seed. She likes it. It's yummy, and she can lay part of her body on it, which she looovvvves to do. But that's it for a garden.

Q: Reasking followinghim's question, since I'm sure someone else has a better answer than I!

Tomatos, sweet peppers, zucchini - plants from green house.

    Onions - sets

String beans, corn, carrots, winter squash - seed.

    What is your favorite vegetable?

My favorite vegetable...well, lets see that's a toss up. I really like Lima Beans, Brocolli, Cauliflower, Brocoflower, Zuchini, Summer Squash, Mushrooms, Butter beans, Black eyed peas, Red onion, Cabbage. I like all these about the same depending on how they are prepared. I'm guessing that you mean eating, not growing. If you meant growing...I'm afraid I would have to say that I don't like to garden. I don't mind planting trees, bushes and shrubbs, but not vegetables. The bugs creep me out.

What is your favorite way to eat a potato?

I like potatoes many ways; baked; freedom (used to be french) fries; mashed; scalloped; chips, etc.

But my favorite way has to be baked.

I try not to eat to many potatoes - as they elevate my blood sugar - but not as bad as rice and pasta.

Do you worship the sun (as in getting tanned)?

Tater Logs, fried, smothered in honey mustard.

Do you prefer french fries or tater tots?

I used to. Even went to the tanning bed for about 18 months. Oh those were the days.

How often do you get the beach?

We don't have a beach. We swim in creeks and lakes around here.

    What's your favorite chip dip?

Cottage cheese - with freedom (french) onion a close second.

There's not anything - in my humble opinion that doesn't go with cottage cheese. I put gravy on it, spagetti sauce on it, bacon bits on it, cheese on it, and of course its great with potato chips (though you need the heavy duty type).

When is it going to quit raining?

December? It will take the ground around here that long to dry up from the rain we've already had this year!

Ever dip your 'freedom fries' in tartar sauce?

No I haven't - but will try it some day.
I do like McDonalds barbecue sauce with my freedom fries as well as/if not better than with catsup/ketchup. [IMG]

Do you like fast food restaurants?

Sorry, wet and chilly. But I like this sort of weather. Now, it'd be better if I was at home, cuddled up on my sofa with a blanket, a book, a mug of chocolate and my cat, but it's fine like this, too. [IMG]

Are you still calling French fries freedom fries? Really?

It has rained here all day.

Yesterday we had some sun in the AM - but rain the rest of the day.

As far as I can remember this week -
    Monday - rain
    Tuesday - rain
    Wednesday - rain
    Thursday - rain
    Friday - rain

do you expect to see Noal anytime soon? :D

    Yes - to freedom fries.
At one of our local eating establishments - french fries - $5.00
    Freedom fries - $1.50

They look the same - taste the same - so I ask you - Which would you buy?

With all this rain - do you expect to see Noal anytime soon?

(Yes I know - two questions  )

Honestly, I wouldn't buy either. I haven't jumped on the bandwagon to call them freedom fries, and won't be forced into doing so to save a few bucks. So, I'd go somewhere else. :D

Noal? The only Noal I know is Noal Cohen, the jazz musician. [IMG]

    Which Noal did you mean?

I'm sorry - I didn't proof read my posts very well. [IMG] The Noal I am referring to is Noah of the great flood.

With all this rain we have been having - do you think you'll see Noah - anytime soon?
