NEVER TRUMPERS COULD CAUSE A STRONG THIRD PARTY

The anti-Trumpers and "Never Trumpers" celebrating at Christmas 2020, in this "dark winter" of Joe Biden's depiction, are assuring each other that Trumpism and Trump are dead and gone for good in four weeks.

Are 'Never Trumpers' the Future of the GOP?

I dont think the gop never Trumpers fully understand what has happened. If they think they can take the gop back to what it was pre Trump and all will be good then they are lost. (Admin no I dont mean not saved)

Doing so will likely cause a mass exodus from the gop and maybe even a strong third party.

A strong third party made up of Tr:mp voters would be the best thing to happen to this country in 150 years

peace to you

If I understand the argument, then I disagree. President Trump has fundamentally changed the GOP (and, really, the DNC). At a minimum those who are not hard core GOP or DNC may have realized the corruption and disfunction that is our Legislative branch because of the transparency of the Trump administration.

I think what may likely occur is a transformation of the GOP, second to this is the possibility of a strong third party. The same may occur with the DNC as well, come to think of it. Going forward, it may be the party that can pull from different sides of it's own party that win elections.

Strong third party causes GOP and DNC to merge to maintain power?

They could call themselves the Republicrats.

I guess that you are an Independent, but as a Republican, I don’t see any change in the Democrat Party unless you are talking about their para-military Antifa and BLM?

No. I am not an Independent.

The change I see in the DNC is not for the good, but more of an upstart for a more progressive party. In a way the opposite of what the Tea Party was to the GOP (where for the GOP the Tea Party was a move towards a more conservative stance, I see a faction of the DNC moving towards a more progressive agenda).

Some are ready to leave the GOP for their refusal to help Trump. The GOP is weak and tedious.

The GOP establishment is weak and tedious. They have long ago abandoned their base and are proud to say so. A third party under Tr:mp would ruin them.

What Im saying is that if the establishment gopers get control of the party then I see an exodus on the horizon. Trump may be able to continue the gop transformation even though he may not be in office.

Well said.

(Guess what? We are on day 300 of 15 days to flatten the curve.)

They went far left under FDR. Harris probably will take us to the point of no return. She is a very bitter woman because everyone knows she prostituted herself to get ahead. Biden will be pushed out by Obama and Harris very soon. They will tell Biden that they will release the video of Hunter’s acts of pedophilia to CNN nightly news unless Joe resigns.

Unless and until they get the election fraud mess straightened out, their future and ours is Dem. Never Trumpers and RINOs may be the future of the GOP, but would mean its demise, something they seem quite happy with. Given the Progressive Left leanings of the Dems, this speaks volumes about who they really are.

Unfortunately there is a "cult of personality" in the GOP that only came to support Donald Trump. It is this cult of personality that had the godless rally in Washington where their false prophets gave prophecy and visions. Sadly, brothers and sisters in Christ have been caught up in this cult of personality.

obama is the cult of personality because he is an empty suit.

Donald Trump has always been a cult of personality. He is a Machiavellian through and through. Your blind allegiance does not preclude this truth regarding Donald Trump. If you so choose to follow a pathological narcissist, that is your prerogative. You are delusional if you think following him will result in a more Godward nation.

no, the Obama phenomenon was much closer to a cult of personality yet it still fell short - they're very hard to sustain if the figure doesn't have almost absolute power. Some of the elements with a cult of personality were there with Obama, mass media adoration, the school children singing his praises, the statutes, etc. were all there but Trump just about wiped out his legacy within a couple of years.

On topic, let the RINOs go ahead and form a third party - they can name that after Trump, takes breaking a few eggs to make an omelet as they say.

The man was once proudly pro choice. I really doubt he had a heart change. He openly and shamelessly has pride issues and unrepentant sexual sins. He just found a group of people that would listen to him and ended up finding enough to get elected.

How do you know? Biden, a devout Catholic, is pro-choice, pro-hom@sexual marriage, pro accepting bribes, pro open borders, and pro high taxes.
