Unfortunately there is a "cult of personality" in the GOP that only came to support Donald Trump. It is this cult of personality that had the godless rally in Washington where their false prophets gave prophecy and visions. That is myopia with blinders. The best that could be argued is that the GOP rather reluctantly accepted a rebuttal to a cult personality after the Dems relentlessly promoted one all too successfully. Obama's was the cult personality to die for—or kill for—an abjectly false Black Messiah promoted shamelessly, unapologetically by the Dem MSM, and literally around the world.

The truth is that Trump gained a wide following despite his personality, because of his strong stance on policies promoting popular conservatism which resonated with people weary of the yellow-streaked "leadership" in the GOP in the face of the creeping anti-America policies of the Progressive Left Dems. It has always been about policy, which the GOP could have pressed effectively long ago had they the political guts.

1,400,000 people signed up on a FB page created 2 weeks ago. They all look & sound like normal, wonderful, passionate for their country, Americans. Lots of smiles. They all know that Trump is not a perfect man, but he is the perfect man to stand up for the country they love, & they love him for it.
