'Never Nancy': Democrats ramp up efforts to sideline Pelosi, without offering an alternative

Freshman Democrats fear a stalemate of progress with Nancy at the house helm - Investigate, investigate, investigate... rather than lawmaking.

A colossal waste of time and resource for the next 2 years.
Also paving the way to swing the house back to the right for 2020.

No alternatives however.

Everyone is afraid to run against her. If they lose , they know she will consign them to the siberia of committee assignments.

They would rather have a speaker that is obviously in the beginning stages of dementia, so much so that she can hardly construct a complete sentence without going off the rails and loses her train of thought on almost every subject.

It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

This has been observably true and her judgement no doubt has been affected.

A Pelosi "investigate Trump" vendetta along with a Water's "impeach Trump" hysteric will probably backfire and the DNC should step in.

It's going to happen with or without Pelosi. Nadler is a rabid dog and he wants nothing more than to harrass the Trump administration. Look for constant investigations and subpoenas galore from the House judicial committee. He will definitely kill all investigations into the corruption of the Obama administration.

Well, if she is brought back, IMO the 3 branches of government will be turned into a political three ring circus of investigations,vetoed and/or failed bills, filibusters, etc... for the next two years - hopefully not beyond.

The swamp will stagnate. Nothing much will happen except maybe more federal judges appointed.

Maybe the republicans shoot vote with the Dems to keep her in?

Doesn't really matter. If they were smart, they'd realize that even if they win, they lose.

He won't be removed from office. They gain nothing, just waste the people's time.

Republicans were smart enough to know that, so didn't bother with impeaching Obama, even though, with all his illegal executive orders, he gave them plenty of opportunity.
