"... in Joseph's tomb BEFORE THE SUN SET. This is hour zero."

GE:
No! Here is 'hour zero':
Mk14:12,17; Mt26:17,20; Lk22:7,14; Jn13:1. Because here the first of 'the three days' begin: each of the three days shall be represented by the crucial moment of its eschatological typology: The first day by Jesus descent to hell and death = his suffering; the second day by the interment of the 'remains' of the Lamb; 'the third day' by his resurrection from the dead. 1Cor15:5.
(So you are allowed sunset Saturday the 72nd hour ending, no harm done to the principle of the whole day represented by any part of it.)

Concluded: 'Hour zero' is determined not by Joseph closing the door of the grave, but by the hour of the day of Jesus' declaring: "My hour is come" and of God's glorification by the giving of his only begotten SON!

Ed Edwards:
"It was the spring, the sunset was about 2 minutes earlier each evening
at what we would call 6PM Saturday it was 6 minutes before sun set. Sometime after 6PM (but before 7PM) Jesus was raised from the dead by God - the personal resurrection of Jesus which pre-figures our own resurrection."

GE:
Could you but have given such attention to the differences between the versions under scrutiny through all this way off the topic debating.

So let us resort to another thread for the discussion of the women's visits to the grave, if you would, please.
