Probably not. The CDC doesn't seem to list survival but rather fatality.

It appears they took the Infection Fatality Ratios from Scenario 5 (Current Best Estimate) in Table 1 (see below), subtracted them from 1.0 then converted to %.

Disease Severity

• Infection Fatality Ratio (IFR): The number of individuals who die of the disease among all infected individuals (symptomatic and asymptomatic). This parameter is not necessarily equivalent to the number of reported deaths per reported case because many cases and deaths are never confirmed to be COVID-19, and there is a lag in time between when people are infected and when they die. This parameter also reflects the existing standard of care, which may vary by location and may be affected by the introduction of new therapeutics.

0-19 years: 0.00003
20-49 years: 0.0002

My wife went to the doctor today and was diagnosed with COVID. I had told her previously to ask for hcl if the doc thought she was infected. He told her that he could prescribe it but good luck on finding it. He also told her that hcl is ineffective. It makes me wonder if "Big Pharm" has him on a leash.

I will get tested tomorrow. I really don't think I have COVID symptoms. I have hay fever symptoms (runny nose and sneezing), but CDC recommends testing for anyone in the same household with COVID patients. If I check positive, I think I will take the hcl script and see what I need to do to get it.

I officially am a covid patient now. I was told to go home and drink plenty of fluids, take zinc, D3, and vitamin C. I asked about hydroxychloroquine and got the same song and dance as my wife did - "New studies have shown that it is ineffective and requires a high dosage in order for it to be of any use."

COVID19: ‘test, test, test’ is ‘wrong, wrong wrong’

Thank you for your prayers, Wingman. My wife does have the COVID symptoms. She had a chest x-ray then nasal swab, and both revealed evidence of COVID. I was advised to get tested because my wife was positive. My only symptoms are hay fever type allergy symptoms, but according to the rapid test (15 minute), I am COVID positive.
Back in March, before testing was being done, I feel that I had real COVID symptoms. I had severe cough, chills and fever, but tested negative for flu. My recent test could well be a false positive, because aside from my head cold, I don't feel too bad.
Marie (my wife) may be starting to improve now. Her low grade fever dropped a notch earlier today. I haven't had any fever myself.
