That doesn't surprise me, there have been several things in the past 2 years I've been reminded of and have no memory of it.
I have no problem with long term memory, but when I am in my home office and I walk into the kitchen, I seem to forget, what I came out for!

That is an everyday thing for me.

To give you a glimpse of what it has become for me, let me tell you about Christmas '23.

My Mom passed away in Feb. '23, Dad has been gone since "11, so my sister an I met at the old home place that Christmas.

She was standing over by the china cabinet talking about how Mom loved the plate and coffee cup set I sent her. I thought she was joking and asked her where did she really get that set. She went on to tell me I set that set to her for her birthday when I was in Italy on a training deployment in "76.

I remember climbing the mountains and the repelling in Italy, but to this day I don't remember buying and sending that set of plates, coffee cups, saucers, etc. to Mom for her birthday.
