There you go assuming again. I am not making an issue out of it because Jesse Jackson is, I couldn't care less what he thinks. If you are referring to my previous posts, then you will know I was answering YOUR question of why he is looked up to as a leader in the black community. I never once said I did or did not support him. You have no idea what my political leanings are, besides the fact I am not a Democrat or a Republican. Secondly, as I have said before, no matter what race (i.e., white, black, etc.), they are NOT refugees, they are American citizens. If you were to actually look at the definition, instead of trying to argue with me, you would see that they CANNOT be refugees. Lastly, even our REPUBLICAN, CONSERVATIVE President has said they are NOT refugees. Like I have said, and will say again, I was pointing out that the term is offensive to some. As Christians we should not say something that will knowingly offend someone else, unless of course we are preaching the Gospel. The last time I checked the term refugee was not a part of the Gospel.Originally posted by Bunyon:

That would be u and me right?I don't know that it is assuming. I'd call it an educated guess. My guess is if this were a city of white folks, you nor Jesse would be pushing this. But of course Jesse had to make it racial somhow. But since it is being pushed, I vote for the "the folks who formerly occupied the City of New Orleans".
