New Poll Shows Democrats Out Of Touch

A recent ABC News poll found that 67% of Americans think the Democratic Party is out of touch with average working Americans. So some Democratic politicians ventured forth into the wilderness, to Pennsylvania, a blue collar state that Hillary Clinton had foolishly assumed was, like the White House itself, hers by divine right. They sat for a panel discussion hosted by CBS’ John Dickerson (host of “Deface the Nation,” as President Trump calls it) to listen to what longtime (but not last time) Democratic voters thought. And boy, did they get an earful!

One man told them that by continuing to blame Russia and WikiLeaks, they’re proving they’re not just out of touch but uninterested in correcting the problem. Besides, all WikiLeaks did was confirm that Democrats were trying to game the election, so what they’re basically saying is, “If we hadn’t been caught lying, we’d be running the country right now.”

Good points Salty. I do not need a poll either. My take is that Congress is basically a collection of idiots and thieves. The Democrats have a greater degree of that than the Republicans.

This was a lesson the Republican Party learned (I hope) when Donald Trump won the nomination. Both parties have grown away from the people they supposedly represent.

Good points Salty. I do not need a poll either. My take is that Congress is basically a collection of idiots and thieves. The Democrats have a greater degree of that than the Republicans.

Every Congressman is not any good - EXCEPT the one that represents you.

Nowadays everything Democrat is second-class. Democrats excel at nothing and they are strangers to the truth. They cannot conduct a polite debate and they have no new or different or good ideas about how to improve the USA. They rule the big cities with an iron fist and the big cities are terrible places. The states that they control are all losing business and middle-class people.
