Just shook hands on a 1994 Chevy C3500 Dually pickup truck. Getting the title tomorrow.

For any other car/truck guys out there it was originally an automatic diesel. The previous owner converted it to a gas 350tbi with a manual shift. I'll get a pic out there tomorrow. Not pretty, but it's for hauling feed.

First pickup I ever drove was a 56 Chevy with a suicide knob on the steering wheel. I was 12 years old and my grandfather said "jump in the driver's seat. I could barely push the clutch down and still see over the dash. I drove 10 miles down the highway. I had learned how to drive stick with my dad's logging equipment so that wasn't a problem, but my grandfather had to place a few coats under me so I could see over the dash. I gave my kid our last stick shift car a couple years back as my knee was getting sore driving in rush hour traffic.
I once had a clutch cable break in rush hour. I was thankful my dad taught me how to double clutch since the old cars didn't have a syncromesh in the transmission. I was able down shift by going to neutral, revving the engine to a higher rpm, and waiting for the transmission to be just the right timing to drop down a gear. God was gracious in allowing me to not have to entirely stop.

Pardon the mess and farm equipment around the basement. I just refurbished the driver side and passenger side doors on my 1994 Chevy K1500 and cleaned it out. I haven't cleaned up much yet.

This truck below is the new 1994 Chevy C3500 I bought. It can keep my K1500 company.

The 3500 needs:
-A new upper hinge pin + bushings on the driver side
-Bed liner (bed has rust holes)
-New Air intake
-New steering gearbox + new steering column
-A working E-Brake

As it is it still runs and drives well. Drove it 150 miles yesterday to break it in. For only $3,000 it's not a bad deal.
