I'm currently considering joining the Baptist church. Thus far, I'm at a loss as to your beliefs. What is a good resource for the to read to learn more of the Baptist interpretation of the Bible, for starters.

I just noticed that your profile lists FBC of Dallas as your home church and that you are considering joining that church. You might, therefore, actually want to start here.

Get yourself a copy of Baptists and the Bible by L. Russ Bush. It will be really helpful to you. Likewise, any good solid Baptist Church that you consider ought to have a written statement of faith that they could provide to help answer your questions. If you are interested in a Southern Baptist Church you also should read a copy of the Baptist Faith and Message, 2000.

Now since you clearly are not a member of a Baptist Church yet, I am closing this thread because you posted it in a Baptist Only section of the BB.
